So far it's working great and the price makes it a very good value
So far so good. Installed in a Tosot R/V Air Conditioner. Product came with all necessary crimp connectors. Got the wiring diagram from the Briidea as this particular mfg/model wasn't shown on their website. Diagram clearly showed how to do the wiring. It's only been installed for a few days, but startup of the A/C seems smooth and operation seems fine.

Good directions.
Really clear directions made installation a lot easier. While it isn't needed, downloading the wiring diagram for your specific AC model and comparing what you'll need to do and what lines to trace is helpful, but the directions that are included are enough to get by (for Dometic atleast). This covers multiple AC manufacters, so when you purchase it, you have to go to their website for the specific manufacter AC you'll be installing into for detailed directions specific to what you have.Mine didn't come wiht a pigtail wire, just the ends for one, so I had to make my own 4" pigtail to splice the system to the top of the compressor. It is no big deal though, as the 90 degree/right angle spade end was included in the kit.Generator no longer bogs down as much when the AC turns on, and no more flickering of the rest of the systems.

Works well, instructions could be a bit better. Good value.
Works well, have been running continuously for about a week now. Package includes a link to the particular AC Brand and model number instructions online (great!). For the Coleman Mach 8, some peculiarities in the wiring instructions need some clarity or a re-write. (Almost good). The area marked in yellow has three notes, in my case read all, then read 5 more times - it’s essentially a splitter that needs removing and connection directly to the board. Trust the wiring diagram they include. If the instructions were crystal clear, I’d rate 5-stars as it is a fairly simple process once you’re able to understand the exact steps.

Works Great
Works Great. Start up on a 15K A/C use to pop 30amps on start-up, now 15amps. Had to replace the 90 connector as the supplied one was too large to fit under the compressor cover.

Not working with Furrion AC units
Bought two and one seems to work. I have 13.5k and 15k Furrion Chill HE AC Units . Installed on the 15K first and it worked to begin with, but then went into fail state during the half hour learning/break in period. I reached out to Briidea support and all I got was a response that "it seems overloaded". After a couple days and I went back to troubleshoot and it started working. To be honest not sure the soft start is doing anything, but the AC is at least cooling. I installed on the 13.5k and could not get it to work. Not sure I am sold on the Soft Start concept, but if you want to try I would recommend trying more well known brand.

Great price and good enough quality to live with.
Installed on an 30’ camper with a Coleman Mach 48000 series AC. Took about an hour. We use this camper as a remote home for 4-6 weeks in the summer. Reliability is important as this is a home and remote office for extended periods. My company will not tolerate remote work if I am not effective while away.Installation was pretty easy. Find the proper installation instructions online. Pay attention, take your time and it will go together easily. Don’t use the cheap connectors attached, get good splices and terminals or you’ll be up there plugging things back in after they worked off and the AC quits.Your RV will run off of a decent wall outlet once you get this installed.

Works, but be prepared...
This review is for a Dometic installation only.Let's start with what is not included- 2 sided foam tape to attach the unit and the small jumper wire as shown in the Dometic instructions.I followed the instructions for the Dometic units and improvised for the missing items. Once hooded up nothing worked! I spent the next several hours troubleshooting and looking for a tech support number- there isn't one! I even undid everything just to make sure the AC unit was working.I finally worked through the problem, and I will correct the instructions here to assist others in the future. The instructions say to remove the blue wire from the compressor (this is the main power input) and attach it to the red soft start wire, then connect the brown soft start wire where the blue wire was. To do that you need a right-angle terminal to fit under the compressor cap, or the not included jumper wire with an angled terminal already attached. In the picture you will see the blue compressor wire attached to a small capacitor with a tan wire. This is the start capacitor and must be removed first. Disconnect the tan wire from "C" terminal on the compressor and place the blue wire from the little capacitor on the "C" terminal as in the second picture. Now you can follow the majority of the instructions. I cut the blue wire about 6" down from the compressor and used one of the included crimp splices to connect to the soft start brown wire. That solves the missing jumper wire problem. The other end of the blue compressor wire I connected to the red soft start wire also using the crimp splice. I prefer those splices over using spade connectors. I recommend that for the white compressor wire splice to the blue soft start wire.Once you get passed the missing parts and the total lack of technical support the product is good. It operates as well as the other units but at a much lower cost. Had it not been for the missing items, incorrect instructions, and lack of support this product could easily have been 5 stars. Take not Briidea!
