This seems like an ok changing pad for a first time mom sense it has a bunch of tips on it. But, it also has an air of corniess, so could possibly be a gag gift too. The material is soft, and the item is long for jiggly babies. And it folds us for portability

This is more than a changing pad. It is like a mini diaper pouch and pad that folds up and straps closed and has a carrying strap. I guess if your prime need is the pad then this is a really great idea. If your prime need is a bag with lots of room for other stuff, then you will see this as more “pad” than storage. The entire thing is canvas on the outside, with prints of little babies in various positions — crawling, sleeping, bathing, crying, etc. The changing pad is plastic coated for easy wiping and cleaning. The pad folds up within the rest of the pouch and straps. There are two zipper pockets, one large mesh pocket, and one area with stretchy straps to hold wipes or diapers. The changing pad part can unzip from the rest if you just want the pad and no pockets or carrying strap. The one thing I do not like is all the printing on the plastic part of the pad. There are weird tips that are just really unnecessary printed on the pad. Some of these tips are just unnecessary, period.

Overall it's a great product to fulfill parent's need in terms of diaper changing. If you just need changing mat (like me), you can just separate them with the zipper. Great for newborns on the go. I hate using public bathrooms so I keep this with us to use on benches or other areas where I can change the baby. I’m expecting it to work for about six month at this size. I wish there was more storage but it works well enough for trips like to the grocery store.
