I bought this clock for both my grandmother and my mother, and they absolutely love it! The large display makes it super easy for them to see the time, day, and date without any confusion. It’s bright, clear, and simple to use — no complicated setup or small buttons to worry about. They’ve had no issues reading or understanding it, even from across the room. It’s been a perfect addition to their homes and gives me peace of mind knowing they can stay on schedule with ease. Highly recommend for seniors or anyone who appreciates a clear, easy-to-read display!

Got this for my MIL who is in hospice. It’s perfect for her. Easy to set up too.

Right out of the box as soon as I plugged it into the wall it had the correct date and time so that was impressive, it seems pretty straightforward with how to use it with bright clear lettering. Brightness automatically adjust to 20% for nighttime but can be personalized as well. I did have to read the instruction booklet which is in English and done well, to figure out how to create a personal short message "alarm/reminder". (There is no button to scroll through an alphabet to create a title but you can create one with a USB drive on your computer and then attach it to the phone and the alarm will show up with the words you want it to say). I added the sample picture from the booklet to my review pictures. My mom is 85 and starting to have some mild memory loss and I spent a little bit more to buy these because I love that it says morning afternoon evening BUT also has the different icons for morning evening and night time that show a sun, a sunset, a sun rising and the Moon. If her memory worsens she may not know whether it's 4:00 in the afternoon or 4:00 in the morning and this will help!! I bought one for her bedroom and one for her living room, she is perfectly able to live on her own at this time and we are trying to make sure she can remain independent as long as possible , but safely, and I think these will help. I love that there will be a daily alarm for her to remember to take her medicines and to even drink water and hydrate herself and also to do her light exercises. I am one of five children and the only one who lives anywhere near her the rest live a thousand miles away so I am the sole caretaker but I have lots of other duties like helping with our grandchildren and work. I'm really excited to get these set up in her apartment tomorrow and I can update my review when I see how they work for her, the intended user. With the remote control it will be easy for her to simply press a button and turn off the alarm or reminders, nothing confusing, and so I don't foresee any problems, in fact I'm thinking about buying one for myself to remind me to drink water and do my own exercises!! on top of any other appointments I may have. The alarms can be set for each day, once a week the weekend or 7 days a week. This will definitely help her as she forgets to look at the calendar some days!I personally think this is a must have for all seniors living alone past the age of about 75 or so . Buy it! :)

Checks every box but one. Anyone who has a 97 year old parent knows how things can be with new purchases especially anything technological. So Big Print for bad eyes, check. Day of the week, check. Brightness, check. Dimming at night, check. Now for the area needing improvement: Working the settings are difficult for some elderly. Buttons are on back of clock, so you have to flip over to see what you are changing and hence losing your place on those tiny buttons and arrows. Understanding how to reset by using directional arrows or how to lock in by pressing okay are not easy for older people. Buttons are pretty small for shaky hands. Directions are included but may or not be helpful for your elderly friend. In my case, I set Mom's clocks, fill her pill box, fix her phone, make sure her cable TV is online and all that. I would make at least one change for better functionality and that is to have the controls put on the front so there is no flipping from back to front to set things. The clock arrived with almost the right time but set one day later than it was. Not sure why. But when you plug it in, it (almost) is ready to go. If it had been set right there would have been no need to do these adjustments. Not sure if it resets for daylight savings time but we will see.

I loved this clock. My mother has dementia and this clock is easy to read and shows the date, day/night (with a sun or moon) I would recommend for anyone who has trouble reading a traditional digital clock

I loved this clock so much after setting one up in our bedroom that I decided to get another for the living room. I really appreciate the ability to adjust the brightness and change the color theme. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase!
