I just got this set and I'm already impressed. For under $10, the value is absolutely fantastic—5 pencils, a variety of lead sizes, including a pack of colored leads, and eraser refills are all included. If you're on a budget—or just love great value—but won't compromise on quality, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal.The weight and balance of these pencils feel really nice in hand, which is ideal for fatigue-free writing and drawing. Far from feeling cheap, these pencils actually feel very high-end. The metal seems to be of high quality, and the grip is comfortable for extended use.Loading the pencils with lead was easy, and so far, they write smoothly without any issues. The HB lead is nice too; it's neither too hard nor too soft, providing a smooth experience and a dark line without excess smudging.Even if you have a preference for a different type of lead, the sheer value of this set makes it worth the purchase.Though I haven't used them for an extended period yet, my first impressions are highly positive. I think some people may be getting new pencils for Christmas. Highly recommended.

It’s nothing crazy exactly as advertised you are getting what you pay for feels good comfortable durable you know it’s just a good pencil

One of the things I like is the case that these come in. It lays out the entire metal pencil set and lead in a neat and orderly way. I also like the 5 different pencil lead sizes including color for the 2.0 (AKA #2) pencil. I find when I’m doing working I typical use a 0.5 or a 0.7, but I often pull out a 0.9 which makes a thicker line that I can see better and doesn’t break as easily. Somewhere in my shop must be more than a dozen cheap plastic mechanical pencils. With this set in a case I can keep all of them together on a shelf and easily find them. This is a nice mechanical pencil set.

I really like these pencils, but the lead breaks too easily (please also read the good part at the bottom, because i don't hate these and these could be a bad set from the factory). At one time the lead works just fine, but then it can't stop snapping inside the pencil. I think the mechanism that pushes out the lead is too strong and snaps the lead before pushing it out of the tip. i can confirm that because i will break the lead while writing, and when I push more out, i can hear a snap and a whole piece of lead will fall out. This keeps happening for a while until I finally get a good length of lead that's not broken. I also tried a different brand of lead, and it snaps too. Unfortunately my cheap BIC multi pack lead pens work way better than these. Note that i am definitely not rough with my pencils and do not abuse them, so the lead is not already broken inside the chamber. I feel that if the mechanism is made to be better on the lead, the pencils would, with no doubt, be an awesome product. I actually really like the multiple sizes and colors of leads and the different chrome colors on the pencils are cool too. Also the .9 and 2mm pencils work just fine I think because the lead is way stronger than the smaller ones.

Good quality set for the cost. Easy to draw with but I think I prefer thicker leads to draw with and these are good for writing projects. Smooth appearance on various types of paper.

I enjoyed that everything came packaged so nicely. The pencils themselves are high quality metal construction and it’s great having a millimeter range of .3-2.0. The different hardnesses of the graphite allow you to make different shade values without needing to press harder or using layers of shading marks. I’m using these pencils for sketching and linework mostly. There’s an abundance of similar items (mechanical pencil sets with varying diameters and lead hardness) but this one is by far the best in terms of price point and what you get for that money spent.

I was never really a mechanical pencil user until I took an art class recently. These were perfect and so handy for class. I love the case they come in. Very convenient for storage and easy to keep up with
