Pass Interference: An Enemies to Lovers Second Chance Romance (The Denver Mountain Lions Book 2)

I’m a sucker for a good sports romance and this second book in the Denver Mountain Lions series was definitely that. I especially loved the scenes on the field and in the locker room.Colin was the playboy of the NFL until a bad hookup is splashed across the headlines and it’s time for him to clean up his act or give up his dream as the star wide receiver for the Denver Mountain Lions. Little does he know, cleaning up his act will put him right in the path of the only woman he’s ever loved, and the one who got away. Peyton is tasked with cleaning up Colin’s reputation in her new job as an intern for his agent. Peyton and Colin have both been holding on to past hurts for the last five years and being forced together only brings all those long lost feelings back to the surface. But can they make it this second time around without either of them losing their jobs?Colin and Peyton had a lot to work out. Neither had gotten over their feelings, but both had moved on in different ways. Colin became a playboy to guard himself against ever falling again and Peyton all but gave up on the dreams they shared in favor of putting her career first. There was so much fire between them and even though they claimed to hate each other they really struggled to fight their chemistry. When they get back together, they are determined to make it work and not let anything come between them again. I loved Colin’s complete turnaround from playboy to devoted boyfriend.This was a quick read for me that was very lighthearted. Colin and Peyton’s chemistry was off the charts and I loved them together.

I’m a sucker for second-chance romances, and this one does not disappoint. Peyton shows up in Colin’s life again at exactly the right time! Immediately sparks fly and they start questioning why they ever broke up. Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

He gets around and has a lot of his antics seen by everyone due to his popularity. After a story going viral, he needs to get his act together or he’s going to lose his spot on the team. The new person to help bring him down a notch is the last person he ever thought to see. Peyton was his first love, the one who broke him and made him act out initially. Can he be civil enough to avoid being traded or is their chemistry something he never let go of and he wants to be exactly what she deserves?Peyton is almost done with her masters and can’t wait for her dream job. She just needs to survive this internship. Which wouldn’t be so bad if she didn’t have to deal with her Ex. They might not have talked for 5 years, but her feelings never wavered and she kept tabs on him from afar. Can she help bring his image back and show the world the man she once loved or are his playboy ways too much for her to help with?This was a cute book. I loved the idea and most of the story. Colin is a total playboy and has made some really dumb decisions, even though he’s done it to fill the void of his broken heart, he was still pretty stupid. Peyton has set her goals to be the best and she is. But seeing Colin again is a double edged sword. She missed the man she once loved and who was her world but seeing him act this way was too much for her. They fell back into an easy-ish relationship a little too quick for what I’d like but I understand how it happened. And their chemistry was off the charts! I’m enjoying this series and can’t wait for more.

What his agent doesn't know is that Peyton and Colin have a previous acquaintance; they fell in love while attending college together at Tennessee, but went through a painful breakup when Colin decided to leave school early for the NFL draft. It's impossible to deny the attraction that still flares between them, but the no-fraternization policy his agent has put in place for his employees means that acting on their feelings would jeopardize Peyton's current internship and prospects for finding a job after graduation. Can they find a way to be together without risking her entire future?Colin and Peyton were a great couple with tons of chemistry and witty banter. Colin definitely went off the rails after their breakup in college, but when he found Peyton again, he immediately put his playboy ways behind him and dedicated himself to winning her back. That said, I was a bit frustrated by the fact that it took them so long to talk about the reasons behind their breakup and figure out that it had been caused by a misunderstanding purposely caused by another person. I was also frustrated that they didn't confront that person as soon as they figured out what had happened, which allowed that person to create additional problems between them in the present.Aside from those (relatively minor) frustrations, I enjoyed "Pass Interference" and recommend it for all contemporary/sports romance fans. I look forward to picking up future stories featuring Colin's teammates, especially Knox. (Hopefully Knox will visit his grandmother for more bingo and love advice in his book! She was so funny in this story.)

I loved this second chance romance! I loved the tension and unresolved past issues between them both but when they see each other again the sparks are still there and there is no denying there chemistry even though Peyton tries to resist! I'm excited for the next book in the series. Ps How could I forget mentioning Waffles the cute adorable lab!
