Because the picture was an odd size it was difficult to find this frame. I love this frame but did not realize that it was smaller than a canvas (in-depth).Because this was what I was looking for, superglued the frame to the canvas and worked perfectly fine! One thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars was that the frame of the canvas was about 1/8 of inch larger than frame but was barely noticeable. Probably was my fault because I was thrilled (after much searching) for this exact frame, that I didn’t read description thoroughly. The canvas fit exactly right inside of this Gold frame— only stuck out 1/8 inch in back and side. Great frame! Don’t regret ordering!

The frame is great and did the job! I used it to frame a 16x20 canvas painting and it fit easily without an issue. The frame is a bit malleable so the uneven canvas on the wall is still curved and as a result, the frame is not flat on the wall but I think that can be easily fixed. The gold is a very bright yellow gold but for the price point and functionality, I give this a 5/5.

My mother wanted a gold frame for one of her paint night 16x20 canvases (~1/2" thick) and I was unsure if this would work. However, without the spring-loaded backerboard, a miracle occurred and the canvas fit! We wedged some material in the corners to hold the canvas in the frame and my father might have ended up Macgyver-ing a backing at some point... But the point is that it served its purpose and my mother was delighted with the end result. :)
