Made me smile 😁
Stars Purley in relation to the cost. Would I compare it to a high end security unit.. no. But I paid a tenner and expected what I got.. The fact that hilariously the remote for my led lights in the shed also arms and disarms the device, it also turns on my Bluetooth speaker. I wish the usual universal remotes you buy for TVs were truly as universal as the led light strip remote! That aside. Works as it should, has now started arming itself when I leave the area for periods of time, can't decide if this is a good thing or not but regardless, it does make a good sound, I've heard louder but it certainly is uncomfortable to be within a few meters of the horn.. give it a shot, basic, cheap and compatible with usual led strip remotes.. try turn up the brightness and magically your security device will arm 😂😂

Works, but only just!
Quick review - This alarm does its job (only just!). But there is definitely some bad points.Long review - I'm writing this review after having the alarm system fitted for a few months now. This is a cheap, easy to install budget alarm. But it does the job (just!).I have mine installed inside of my garage.Straight out of the box it's clear that this is a low quality item. Made out of the same materials as a cheap kids toy. Installation was easy and was ready to go within five minutes of unboxing. This item is let down by its remote fobs (comes with 2 fobs inside of the box). They look and feel like a children's toy version of a key fob for a car. They are very lightweight and do not feel very robust. 70% of the time they do not work unless you hold it approximately 10cm in front of the sensor on the main unit. This isn't too much of a problem for myself, as my unit is installed in an easy to reach area. But be warned, if you have the same issues with the fobs as myself, you may not be able to turn off the system when it is activated if you can't place the fob directly in front of the sensor! The alarm is activated/deactivated by pressing a button on the fob. To arm the system, press the button on the fob and the main unit will beep once and display a green light on the front of the unit. You then have approximately 10 seconds to leave the area. After the 10 seconds is up, the green light turns off and the alarm is activated. The PIR sensor is actually really good, and picked up my movement from at least four metres away. When it detects movement, a red light on the unit will start to flash for a few seconds to warn you that it has been activated, it will then sound the alarm. The alarm on the system is very good and extremely loud. To disarm the system, as soon as you enter the sensors proximity area, aim the fob at the device and press the button on the fob to disarm it (or, in my case, if the fob doesn't always work like it is supposed to, run towards the alarm like a mad man waving the fob in its general direction whilst pressing the key fob button to disarm it) Unfortunately, if you can't disarm it quickly enough, the alarm will sound, and it is quite painful for your ears whilst you continue to try and disarm it.

Works ok for a couple weeks
Product worked well for about 6 weeks then it started to have a problem being set to ‘on’ via the remote, several attempts to set to ‘on’ before accomplished. Switched ‘off’ ok but not ‘on’.Once again I fall foul of cheap Chinese tat, spend a bit more and get something that will work properly.

Words escape me to describe how bad this is
The tracking journey shows that this nasty little piece of plastic has travelled from China to Koln, where it was then shipped overnight to East Midlands Airport and then made its way to our house in Oxfordshire. I think the seller should be billed for the environmental damage done. The unit comes out of the box and is ready to install once you've added 4 brand new well-known make AA batteries. It mounts on a really bad quality bracket. Once in place, you remove the black tab from each of the remote controllers and press the button to arm the alarm. Only, one controller has a tiny glimmer of light in the indicator bulb - the battery is virtually dead. The second controller has a decent battery power, so you press the ARM button.... and the square root of nothing happens. The alarm is not set. The alarm doesn't detect anything. The supposedly extreme ear-damaging alarm... doesn't go off. What a complete and utter waste of time and space. These alarms are sold under umpteen different brands, including a UK one. But they DO NOT WORK.

Shed alarm
I bought this for the shed, does the job, loud enough to alert people.2x remote fobs with it (incl batteries) you will need 4x AA Batteries for the alarm itself.Ok for the money.
