Philips S720/17 Series 1000 Click and Style Shaver/Beard Trimmer in One

Bought to replace a 5 year old one of the same type and brand. So was comfortable spending the money as I was confident it would last a decent length of time. Battery lasts a good few weeks of the occasional trim. Just remember to clean the adjustable head trimmer as can get clogged and will end up pushing the plastic apart.

Bought it as my first electric razor and I'm glad I did, definitely a good buy. Being in my late teens I would suffer from some achne whenever I would usually use a normal razor, with this I just use the beard trimmer and it does a really good job and stops me from breaking out.I also used the razor on this to try it out dry and it worked just as well as the trimmer attachment, both attachments work very well and don't cause any irration.

battery life is great and recharging does not take long. I would prefer that it can be used whilst plugged in, but it is a safety feature of sorts.

Got this to replace my old (20 years old) phillishave and its just as good. Excellent range of shavers, love them

Great for a quick shave - but the trimmer was not that impressive.I have very dense stubble and have to shave the non-goatee beard part of my face everyday. I don't like wet shaving every day - so the idea was to do a wet shave one day and use this on another day.The shaving part was good enough - but the trimmer is a bit rubbish.Actually cut my lip when I was trying to trim the moustache part of my goatee!Seriously what kind of trimmer cuts your skin!Sent this back and I bought a separate shaver and also got the Philips Series 3000 6-in-1 trimmer instead - which is much better.

Very nice machine. I only use it for the trimmer function. I know that the shaving has only 2 rotating blades, but i never use it.

I used to use 9series of Braun but it wasnt right to me as my beard isn't that thick or many,I think getting right shaver for you is way more important than how expensive it is
