Great brush for curly or thick hair.
I have thick and curly hair. It frizzes and I live in an area where it rains most days. I was using the Crave brush which was much better than my old one, but it still would pull too much/get stuck if I got a really bad tangle. I bought this brush about 18 months ago because the reviews seemed good and it was inexpensive. I don’t use any other brush now if I can avoid it, with one exception. I like to use the Crave one after I wash my hair because my hair is too heavy when really wet, and this brush really flexes a lot so I worry that I might break it. Once it dries a little though, it’s good to go. My niece, on the other hand, has long thick wavy hair that likes to tangle at a thought and she uses it whether her hair is wet or dry without any issues. I basically bought this brush for a lot of family members last Christmas. We pretty much all have long hair. Every one seems to love it. My teenager, who has hair like mine, but even thicker and curlier, refuses to use any other brush. Though they did break theirs by trying to brush straight down, from the top of their head, after just waking, and almost getting it stuck on a huge tangle. Since then, they start with sections at the bottom and work their way up gradually and have had no other issues. That was user error though, not the brush’s fault so I didn’t deduct any stars. My niece uses it on her preschooler who used to HATE having her long curly hair brushed. She still doesn’t like it but she doesn’t mind it so much now. I had bought them several different brands of detangling brushes in hopes that at least one of them would make hair-brushing a less stressful and tearful time. This is the one my niece has said works best. My partner, who has thinner wavy-straight hair likes this brush but also still uses their natural bristle brush as well. My nephew-in-law also prefers a thicker-bristled brush over this one. If you have thick and/or curly hair or a toddler/preschooler/child who gets tangles a lot, this brush is definitely worth trying out. The only con I can think of is that I’ve gotten used to the more gentle feel of this brush so that if I am away from home and need to use a different brush, they now feel too rough on my scalp. And it doesn’t fit in a small purse.

Truly wonderful
This brush is saving my hair. I have tried so many detangling brushes and they all rip my hair out no matter how gentle I am. I have spent the last few years transitioning from straightening my hair every day to embracing my curls. My hair gets so tangled that I lose a ridiculous amount of hair whenever I brush or wash. Every single expensive curly hair detangling brush has been awful. When I say rip my hair out I mean two handfuls full of hair every time I wash which is usually every other day due to a scalp issue. I have easily lost half of my hair. I have tried dry and wet brushing and it has made zero difference. I have used so many products for detangling and moisturizing with said expensive brushes also with zero difference. I bought this on a whim and a hope and a prayer to stop destroying my hair. This brush detangles my hair with ease. Wet or dry. I used it to detangle and brush product in last night and although it takes time due to how gentle the brush is, the amount of hair loss was significantly less. Like maybe 1/10 of what I have been losing. This is truly a gentle brush that works amazingly on my hair. It’s a tad smaller than a normal paddle brush but I don’t mind the size. I will forever only buy this brush from now on. I can’t wait to see if my volume comes back now that I’m not losing a significant amount of hair every time I wash. I highly recommend this brush.

Gentlest detangling brush ever made! Just WOW!
I don't usually leave reviews but this one is worthy of one because what is this magic??!!! At first it felt kinda flimsy and was the "cheapest" option of the brushes I was considering, so I didn't have the highest of hopes. So imagine my surprise when not only did it untangle my knots, but I felt ZERO pull on my head. I mean, honestly, I can't even feel this thing doing it's impeccable job..it's absolutely amazing to me! I don't know what about the design or bristles causes it, but it's as gentle as if you were using the back side of the brush on your hair! LOL. I don't know how else to describe it, but if you're considering a detangling brush don't even think about it, just hit "buy now".I promise I've never had such a great brush before! For reference, I have thick, wavy (especially underneath) blonde (bleached) hair. I don't wash it every day and I sleep with it up AND toss & turn often, so the back/underside of my hair gets tangled and I would call it the very beginning of "matted", almost. My scalp is very sensitive to where I (used to) hate brushing the back/underside of my hair...not anymore!! :-)

I'll never need another hair brush
This thing is nothing short of magic. Me and my kids all have sensitive scalps and this brush actually works. The first time I used it I thought it wasn't doing anything, just skimming over the top of the tangles, but after a few painless strokes I noticed it was actually removing tangles. My kids finally brush their hair as well. No more letting it knot up something crazy and crying and screaming while I comb it out with detailer. It's amazing.I have but two small qualms with this gift from heaven. First, with most typical brushes the hair is fairly easy to keep wrapped up in the brush until I'm done to remove it, but with this one the stray hairs all just kind of go everywhere. Stray hairs end up all over me which is kind of a sensory issue, but I can expect it and accommodate. The only other issue is that sometimes I like a nice hard bristle on my scalp for a good massage. This brush is difficult to apply pressure with since it's so bendy. It ends up being a very light scalp massage which is....ok.Overall it's more than I could have ever expected, and I highly recommend this hair brush to anyone with children or difficulty brushing out difficult tangles.
