good thing
this is my first such installation, I don't know if it is possible to display photos of the items I made, but the photos turned out good. I still need to practice because I am not a professional photographer, but I need to exhibit photos of antiques and this definitely helps to make the photos better

Doesn't come with UK Plug!
Sadly the unit came with a European plug, despite the pictures showing a UK 3-pin plug.I haven't been able to use this yet, and will probably end up returning it, as the seller isn't responding to my messages. I've had this for 2 weeks now and the seller said they were sending me a replacement plug. Nothing has arrived yet and the response I have gotten is that they are investigating the logistics. There are lots of better alternatives on Amazon and unless you want to pay for an additional plug, I would definitely avoid this one.

Brilliant lightbox for
Exactly what I needed, I tried a couple of other lightbox products and returned them. This is perfect, with the option to take photos from the front or the top. The dimmable led light panels are perfect removing all shadows. This is what you can easily produce.

compact and portable
The light box is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry and set up for product photography sessions. The light box features 480 LED lights evenly distributed throughout, providing soft and even illumination for product images. The light box comes with four colour backdrops (white, black, red, and green) for versatile product photography. The backdrop stand can be adjusted to different heights and angles to accommodate various product sizes. However, the built quality isn't the best.

Does The Job Reasonably Well, But Has A Lot Of Rough Edges Given The Price.
This light box arrives in a nice, Pulux branded, cardboard box, with its own plastic carry handle. Inside the box is the light box, power supply, front baffle, diffuser, 4 x PVC Backgrounds, Tote carrying bag, and an instruction leaflet. The light box is relatively easy to set up. It is held in shape by a mixture of thick fabric, some internal framing, the LED light panels, clever folding, and Velcro. Whilst this makes it possible to easily disassemble it and carry it flat in the bag, it does make the construction a little flimsy. When set up it takes up a space roughly 60cm wide, by 40cm deep, by 60cm tall. The light box has three light sources. One from above and one from either side. These are all connected to the same power supply which has a single knob to control the brightness level of all three LED panels. There are three ways to use the box. You can have the front section completely open. You can put on the front panel, which has a silver reflective surface to bounce light back towards the subject, but leave a small panel in the middle of it open so that you can take photos through it. Or, you can close this panel, and open a hole in the top to shoot photos from directly above your subject. As well as this, when shooting from the front, there is the option to have a diffuser panel between the top LED light panel and the subject, or to remove it to have more direct light shine on the subject to create stronger reflections and a harsher light. There are also 4 different coloured background PVC sheets (white, black, green and a coral orange), to help create the shot you want.In use the light box does a reasonably good job for smaller objects. It is nice and bright at full power, and the various ways of being able to take shots makes it quite versatile. Not only were the shots great, but I found it so much quicker to use, especially when having multiple items to shoot, than having to set up traditional lighting for each item. That being said it, is not without its issues. When in use, especially at full brightness, the power supply can get uncomfortably toasty, so I would advise being careful where you place it. The workmanship where the cables are connected to the LED panels is disappointing. As you can see from the photo (and it is the same for all three panels), the place where the wires are soldered to the panel is exposed. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this in terms of functionality, it is hardly the finish I would expect from an £80 product. The front panel is held on by a vertical strip of Velcro on either side. After about a weeks' worth of use, the top of this panel, which isn’t secured, has started to sag, leaving a gap between this and the light box. Whilst on a practical level this isn’t that much of an issue, I wish there had been Velcro on all four sides of this panel to secure it in place, and will probably end up adding my own. This sagging leads me to another worry though, which is, given that most of the joints are simply fabric joints, I can’t help wondering how many times it will take, folding and unfolding this light box, before those joints start to stretch a little, and make the box flimsier than it already is.The PVC backgrounds are reflective on both sides. Whilst this wasn’t much of a problem with the white one, it was very noticeable on the green one. These reflections caused the bend in the background to be very obvious in the photo. Sometimes you may want this bend visible, but other times you may want to hide that bend to create an ‘infinity’ type effect, where the subject is effectively floating in the image. So I wish the backgrounds had one side that’s a matte finish and one side that’s reflective, to enable you to create whichever effect you prefer. Finally, I wish the panels could be controlled independently, as well as uniformly, for those times you might want to introduce some shadow and contrast to your subject(s).In conclusion, this light box is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it does the job and you can get some really nice product shots, as well as other types of shots that benefit from this type of light box. However, the hot power supply, poor finish, the flimsy nature of the build and the potential for stretching and sagging of the fabric, makes me a little concerned about its longevity. Obviously only time will tell on that one, so perhaps my fears will be unfounded. If the box cost £50 I wouldn’t quibble as much, but for an £80 product, I can’t help thinking the both the construction and the finish should be better than what it is.~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest opinion about it. That’s what I have set out to do, so I hope you found it helpful. ~

Good product
I have received this as a gift and I am super impressed with it so far. Offers a bright light that can also be dimmed at multiple levels, comes with 4 backdrops that are not made of fabric so there are no creases to be worried about and it also have a travel bag.

Huge step up in quality of light, workflow from entry level light boxes
The PULUZ lightbox is a huge step up in lighting quality and control from the cheap lightboxes I have been using. It is more difficult to assemble than the cheaper units; and at first it feels quite flimsy as the sides are held together by Velcro rather than being stitched together. The device comes in a storage back and with 4 different backdrops. The backdrops are a hard plastic rather than the foam that my old lightbox used. This means the colours are glossy; and one of them is a lovely glossy black. That glossy black came in handy reviewing a diffuser. It let me get nice reflections of the light and controls; and when I wanted to show the mist coming from the unit; the lighting let me get a clear view. I also appreciated the Velcro assembly as it let be run power cords into the lightbox to power up the light; and I could hide them out of shot or include them when I wanted to show the size. The lighting is as with the cheaper units LEDs – only in this case they have diffusers that give a more even light spread when you use them. You can use all 3 lights at once or unplug individual lights to get a different effect. Sadly, the controller only gives you one option for the brightness of the LEDS, so I found using one of the side lights and the top light often gave the best view. You can set the lights to blow out any shot you might want to take; or dim them down. When dimmed right down there isn’t any flicker which is a great for my eyes and works better than the anti-flicker feature of my camera. The top of the lightbox can be opened for overhead lights (the top light pulls out of the way)When you are done all that Velcro helps with packing up; it’s easy to collapse things back down and try and stuff them back into the carry bag it comes with. With that the Puluz lightbox is a huge step up from the cheap lightboxes I have used before. The lighting quality makes a huge difference to the photos. There are things I would improve; but for the price its worth every penny if you are taking a lot of product photos.
