Get these genuine Brother cartridges, save some money, and protect your Brother printer, brother. I am convinced now, after several years experience and some failures with Brother MFC printers and aftermarket cartridges, that aftermarket cartridges will ultimately wreck the printer and void the warranty. So Brother's advice to use only genuine Brother cartridges is more than just a cheap shot to sell more cartridges. That is what makes these genuine Brother cartridges such a good deal. A very competitive price. Although they are more expensive than aftermarket cartridges they will save you a lot of money and trouble in the long run.

There’s nothing like the factory ink for a printer. Although they cost substantially more, you don’t go through the grief of generic cartridges. I’ve found some generics arrive With the cartridge dry or they are leaking. With this printer I decided factory only.

These Cartridges work excellent, Highest Size avail for my Brother office jet printer.It was worth to buy the largest available size it was actually cheaper to but instead of regular cartridges from staples or some other store. I would suggest these to anyone to help save a few bucks even if you don't print all the time, it does save money.Pros: Plenty of ink, Factory new, No ProblemsCons: have yet to find one.

It’s always best to use Brother ink in my Brother MFC printer . I tried a generic brand once and the results were terrible.

I only use new cartridges in my Brother printers, so it can be costly (but not as costly AND aggravating as what happens with the random quality of refills and remans). When used with an "Economy color" printing preset, these last a very long time. I always get perfect performance from the color cartridges (hence 5 stars); the black cartridges usually require being run through the cleaning program (all 3 cycles) about every 3-4 months.

I learned kind of the hard way to stick with the genuine Brother ink cartridges when my printer jets got clogged by an off brand ink. I say kind of because Brother customer service was absolutely fabulous about solving the problem. They sent me a replacement printer at no cost (a newer and better model than the original) and made me a customer forever.These are the genuine article at a bargain price. Expiration date was one year from date of purchase, so unless you do a lot of printing don't stock up too much. Expired ink will also gum up your machine. Otherwise buy with confidence.
