The 8Bitdo in short connects your wireless controllers from other platforms (PlayStation & Xbox for example) to your switch and emulates as a switch pro controller.For the price I paid, I'd say it's worth it. Used this for over 2 months and hasn't disappointed me yet. I'm using a PS5 Controller to play Splatoon 3 & Mario Kart and suffers no problems from my use case.The only Con I can only say about this is that its KINDA finicky when pairing controllers to the 8BitDo but is very seamless when you know how to use it.You can look at breakdown and reviews on YouTube to investigate more on the 8BitDo for more information but overall it's a great piece of tech.

Bought a cheap ps4 knock off controller from Bnms, it stated it has Bluetooth but was never able to get it to work, just resigned myself to the fact I would have to use the wire. Plugged this in, took a few minutes for windows to see it, then it worked no problem! Everything works great, couldn't be happier. My controller has Bioteck written on it. Cheap and cheerful but works.

I bought this because the Nvidia Shield TV seems to have really poor Bluetooth performance (had fairly high latency) which was exacerbated by the fact I use GeForce Now to stream all of my games so any reduction in latency is very welcome. When I switched over to using my Xbox One controller with this gizmo it solved all of my latency issues. Cloud gaming is now a much better experience thanks to this.Really simple pairing process as well: just press and hold the pair button on the Xbox controller then press the pair button on the 8bitdo and boom its connected.I think its well priced considering it just works without any faff.

Pointless gadget. Tried on pc would only connect one controller.

Works fantastic. Had my switch for years and didn’t know these existed. So nice using a PlayStation controller for my switch! Game changer!
