I bought this helmet because I got an electric bike and I find regular bike helmets awkward and uncomfortable. I only used this helmet once so far, but its great! It was a particularly warm day (almost 90) so I was a bit worried about getting overheated, but the ventilation in it is amazing.I don't plan to ride in the dark so I don't know how well the visor would work in the dark, but you can easily just pull it up. It was a little difficult to see in the shadows, but the tint on the visor helped with the sun in my eyes SO much that I prefer having the tint and just needing to squint a little more at shadows.I found the helmet to actually feel relatively cool when riding my bicycle, I could feel the wind still while wearing it. Also a big fan of the chin strap.I have a relatively small head that can typically fit child sized hats. I saw the reviews saying on here that it runs a bit small, so I ordered the medium. I was worried still it would be too big, but it fit perfectly and its very comfortable.Overall I think it was a great purchase, it exceeded my expectations and I feel protected while riding my bicycle. If I don't leave any updates on this review consider me still happy with it!

It looks good on me and is pretty comfortable, but I wish it came with a clear visor, or at least give the option to buy one. As it is, I have to ride with the visor open because I just feel too disconnected with my surroundings, which, in the summer is just as well, because it can get kinda hot.Also, I wear glasses, so closing the visor (tinted or clear) would just cause them to fog up anyway.The tinted visor does serve a purpose for me though, when riding into the sun, I can just lower them enough to shade my eyes.

Great helmet, it's easy to put in and functional. The visibility through the visor is great, and it's pretty comfortable. It's easy to put on and take off, and the vents can also close to help with limiting wind noise. It was a great buy.

Fits perfectly, so far I have been lucky enough to not need to know how well it holds up if I take a spill.The chin strap can be a bit odd if you aren't familiar with it, but after the first time getting it setup, was a piece of cake.

I honestly have doubts it meets dot certifications in my opinion. I have another motorcycle helmet brand fuel. I purchased around the same price from Wlmrt and it's stronger all around. This one looks better with the tinted plastic. And it's much comfortable to wear. But definitely is somewhat more flimsy. And I tested it by squeezing it with both hands and seeing how much give or flex it had.The tinted plastic looks awesome but hinders visibility at night. It is terrific to wear in the daytime. Not so much in the nightime. Would had been nice if it came with the clear plastic also even if it was a little more cost.Tinted plastic visor cannot be easily taken off unlike my other fuel brand helmet. This helmet does not come with a spare plastic shield other than the nice looking tinted one you see in the advertised photo.
