💧 Stay dry, stay ahead — never let moisture slow your flow!
This 2 lbs activated alumina desiccant features a highly porous structure that absorbs over 30% of its weight in moisture, maintains stability under high temperatures and corrosive conditions, and achieves ultra-low dew points down to -100°F. Perfect for filament drying and compressed air/gas systems, it’s reusable after simple oven regeneration, making it a cost-effective and eco-conscious choice for professionals demanding peak performance.

Great for keeping 3d printing filament dry
Far better than silica desiccant. Need to pair it with a hygrometer, though, because there's no visual indication that they're spent.

Works awesome, will never go back to silica gel
Stuff works and was bone dry when opened. I suggest dropping a $1 temp/ humidity readout in the jar after you open it and use some so you can see instantly if usable or needs drying when you need it next time.

Works great for 3D printer filament
Surprised by how well this lowers the humidity in an enclosure. Be aware it is not as fast as silica beads, but is much more absorbent. I use this with a Powder Shaker (found on Amazon at www.amazon.com/dp/B0824XK6PN) for the center of 3D Spools in my Bambu Labs AMS. I also use both Silica Beads and this in a custom holder for dryboxes to store 3D spools.

Useful for 3D filament storage
I’m using this in a set of desiccant packs inside my AMS for my Bambu Labs printer. Within an hour of putting the desiccant in the AMS, my humidity level had dropped to under 10% from 26%. Best of all, I can bake this out in the oven to recharge it for years. Since I didn’t use much of it, I made sure to seal the lid back up with electrical tape to preserve the remaining desiccant. Highly recommend for 3D filament storage inside vacuum bags or in desiccant packs inside non-vacuum storage boxes.

Works great
I use this in dry boxes for 3D printer filament and it seem to get things to a lower humidity than the gel beads and packs I've used before. I have seen some types of beads swell and break into little annoying bits so I decided to give the alumina a try and glad I did.

Much better than silica
These take my 3d printing filament storage and my AMS to levels of humidity that are lower than the sensors can reliably measure. They also last longer than the silica I used in the past. Finally a few hours in an oven recharges these so you don't waste money.A better value and better performance than silica!

Excellent Dessicant
Worked way better than silica gel packs, overnight it took my silk pla from 42% moisture to 8%
