I personally never saw the product it was purchased as a present. I was told the hinges and closure were rusted when the box was opened - I was surprised since the item was never opened and shipped unopened to the recipient. I of course offered to exchange it but he told me the board and pieces are a great size and other than the metal pieces its absolutely beautiful. The recipient is quite handy and says its nothing to replace the metal hinges and closure but Im disappointed.
