Great meshtastic device. Work great

Nifty little device. Seems solid. Documentation could be better, but it's a sufficient pointer to online stuff. Need an enclosure. Reasonably priced for what it is. Nice and small too! Comes plug and play so its easy to get going.

Super easy to setup, I'd call it easy mode. Solid build quality and has been happily running since setup. good value for low effort entry, but it's almost too easy so if you're looking for a fun day project, this probably isn't it. took minutes to setup.

Update: Lilygo has offered to send me a replacement but it's been 3 weeks since the offer. I'll be sure to post here when it arrives. IT ARRIVEDIt arrived today and works. Communication with Lillygo was mostly prompt, but you may have to ask specific questions to get details. Long story made short, when they offered the refund, Amazon process got in the way of refunding to my card. Lilygo asked if I would consider a replacement instead and I agreed. At the time, they had no stock at Amazon, but once they did, they arranged shipment of a replacement unit. This is a 4 star review instead of a 5 star (upgraded from 1) mostly because their communications were without enough detail to help me manage my expectations, but also because of the device failure, which they've now corrected.Original Post follows: My device died after two weeks of use. I can't reflash it or get it to respond in any way.

This board worked out of the box. I was surprised that it came preloaded with firmware appropriate for use in gliders.

A little pricy to buy but a lot faster shipping compared to ALI. Flashing worked fine, and the node is up.

I had high hopes for the LILYGO T-Beam Meshtastic LORA32 915MHz ESP32 development board due to its impressive specs and feature set, especially with the built-in OLED module and support for both WiFi and BLE. Unfortunately, my unit got bricked after only a few uses, and now it won't work anymore. I tried troubleshooting and even re-flashing the firmware, but nothing seems to bring it back to life. While it initially seemed like a promising product, this kind of issue is quite frustrating, and I can’t recommend it unless there's a reliable fix or quality control improvement.

Programmed well, good condition on delivery, in service for months. This was exactly what I ordered and in good condition.
