Visage 50th Anniversary Fuzz Effect Pedal

I've tried many fuzz pedals including Dunlop versions and Fulltone, and many from the Roger Mayer line. This one and Page-1 classic are my favorites. This particular model is very interesting since it allows you to fine tune your exact sound you are looking for. It has jumper settings in the back that allow for 45 different variations. Most people don't mention it, however, it really helps to think of them as dials. There are three sets. Each has a few options to go from lowest to highest. So, thinking of them as dial knobs really simplifies the understanding of what they do.. as in Treble, Distortion and Sustain... not to mention you still have the easily-accessible controls for Volume and Drive (Fuzz Gain) on the outside. If you have this pedal you may not even need anything else. It replaces compressor, treble boost , overdrive and distortion / fuzz all in one. Highly recommend.

Simply the best fuzz I've ever played. There are 3 Jumper pins that you can move to adjust the Bass, Treble and Sustain. I prefer the bassiest jumper settings, and then boost the high frequencies with a wah wah and the treble/presence on my amplifier settings. The Visage must have a compressor built inside it, because no matter what it tracks the notes beautifully. You will not need another Fuzz pedal after you play this!
