Quest Specialty DIGEST PLUS Foaming Drain Cleaner and Odor Eliminator, 1 count

I bought this for a smelly sink drain that traditional clog-removers had failed, and it worked wonders. Drano and the like would just pour down the drain and wash away. I needed something that would foam up and attack foul buildup a long the sides of the pipe and the overflow tube. One application was not nearly enough, but made clear progress. Use it multiple times, just enough each time to fill the pipe, an let it digest the biological material for you. Pleasant smell, no more foul odors. It even had enough foaming pressure to blast out some gunk from the overflow tube. This product is exactly what we needed. No clue what previous tenants put down this drain.... Smell be gone.

We had a mildew/mold smell in our master room and we sniffed it out and decided it was coming from the bath tub/shower. We used bleach and tried putting it down the drain and in the shower head but it did not help the smell. I watched some videos online and thought I would try a foaming type of cleaner. We put the plastic tube as far town the tub drain and pressed the button until foam came out the bath water spout and out the overflow hole. We let the foam do its thing and the smell was gone by the next day! And the smell stayed gone. It’s been several months since the first use and it is still gone.

So I expected 20 years worth of gunk to come out when i sprayed this in my drains. Either i have really clean drains even tho i never clean them, or this product doesn't work. It sprayed in just like the videos, but no dirty foam came out. I feel it probably doesn't clean what is down there. I would not purchase again.

Could not be easier to use! Very pleasant smell. Seems to work fairly well and easy. Only drawback is after one week of use. I am starting to get the smell back so I will try a second application but was hoping the problem would be fixed first time. We shall see what happens after the second use.

This product certainly sounded good when I ordered it. I liked that it was not going to fill my house with noxious fumes and hoped it would be effective in clearing some drain issues. It failed on the important parts there.KUDOS: It's easy to apply. Insert the clear hose, remove the top cap cover, press the button and the foam comes out. It has a light pine scent and it foams up well and quickly. It takes about an hour for the foam to fully break down.CONS: The big one- it did not work. Having a slow drain in the kitchen sink, I applied this three times over many days. Did not digest or change the issue in the slightest. Smelled good but smelling good and working well are two separate things.OVERALL: Don't waste your money. This is not worth it.

This foamer worked well for my kitchen sink drain that smelt like mildew. It’s weirdly hard to find cleaning foam that isn’t heavy duty for clogs. The problem I had is when the can was done, it blew the hose off and got chemical foam dots everywhere! In my hair, on my skin, around the kitchen. So if I were to use this again, I’ll be firmly holding that hose to the can. Also, it’s a little expensive to be in my rotation of cleaning products

This is the first time I bought a foaming drain cleaner so I didn't know what to expect. The overflow on my bathroom sink had been smelling badly forever and I was a little desperate to find a good product. I tried vinegar and baking soda, other bathroom cleaning products, rubbing alcohol, dish detergent, and tried to brush inside the overflow drain, but the smell never really gone away. I had my doubts after reading the reviews but thought this one has the better reviews of the comparable products. The moment I used it the result was instant. I inserted the tube deep into the overflow drain and pressed down the nozzle, and instantly the black moldy/mildew stuff, debris, hair from my husband's shaving, and whatever other gross stuff came right out with the foam. I let the product sit for a while and then used some more, then more gross stuff came out. Too bad I was too worried about getting any of the foam on my hand that I didn't take a picture. But the cleaning was really satisfying to watch and the bad smell is gone. I will definitely buy more for monthly maintenance!

Put in new plumbing and sink. Used this in the drain before putting it back together. Worked great.
