Amended review 20/12/2022:Well, that didn't last long, just 8 weeks and it broke!It was great for the 8 weeks but has become temperamental when trying to change the spray pattern. The thumb switch action either does nothing when pushed or changes the pattern to a setting almost-in-between the actual spray patterns. The spray patterns were good and with a disability that has affected hand movement and strength it was great but now it is off the the bin with it. Such a shame the quality was not there in the switch mechanism.Original review:This was to replace an old shower head as with weakening hands from a muscle wasting disease it was getting hard to change the pattern with two hands. This was basically chosen as the only one suitable that came in White, but I am really glad I chose a Newentor manufactured one as it is superb. We now have six patterns replacing the three we had, single-handed changing and superb pressure. Hopefully, the beads will help with my Psoriasis, which makes my skin very dry as others have noticed it softens enough to help skin conditions. This showerhead is definitely worth the price and looks good as well.This arrived the next day from Amazon and took a mere 10 minutes to unpack and install so I highly recommend this shower and Newentor

Got this to replace another filter shower head that uses cartridges to contain the filter balls, only replacement cartridges are not available for it. With this shower you just tip the filter balls in directly so you can use new filter balls from anywhere.This shower looks nicer, far nicer in situ that I thought it would. It is a joy to use and to change modes on it. And the feeling the modes gives you is much nicer. If you like to really feel the water against your skin then some modes do that. If you want it gentle you can do that too. Not like the shower this one replaced which had pointless modes that were just gimmicks and sprayed water everywhere without getting you wet.As for the filter efficacy I can testify that if you get itchy skin coming out of the shower and are constantly having to reach for the body lotion then this shower will probably save you money, and you will feel much better too. But my wife who doesn't have this problem said she couldn't notice any difference with the filter balls so it's not for everyone.

Feels flimsy but does job

So I moved into a house with an electric shower. I spent the first few weeks trying to find a shower head that had some semblance of pressure. (It was so bad, shampoo basically wouldn’t rinse properly). I found one that was the best of a bad bunch and stuck with it. For a long time, I refused to get any of these “bead” shower heads - as they usually have the pinhead openings for the water and because I get limescale it just didn’t feel like a good option.When I saw this head it seemed best of both worlds. When I added it, it was immediately better than my previous shower head and once I found the right setting, seemed to finally give a bit of regular pressure.At my prev home there was a pump shower, and any electric shower I think will be incomparable to that… but I can say this has been the best shower head I’ve found for my rather basic electric shower!If you have pressure issues from an electric shower, try this before you give up, it should do a decent job
