Perfect firmness & height for those who likes the pillows not too soft and yet not too firm.
It was perfect height & firmness for me. I prefer a bit of the firm side more than soft. My most important focus is the neck support. Often all other pillows shaped in similar shape, where the neck support suppose to be become too soft or sink in too much.Too often I would wake up later because my neck aching from pillow's height being too high or low, pillow is too firm and end up causing back of my head to go numb, or gradually slip off from the pillow's imperfect curvature & continue having to retuck in & reposition the pillow through out the night.I think it's that extra bottom layer allowing you to adjust the height in a way provides additional firmness & support for the neck as well. So I myself being petite left on the extra layer, without it, the pillow will be a bit too low for me.Last 6-8 months I've been wasting so much $ trying out all sorts and shapes of pillows costing $20 to > $100 ( major brands, see on TV products, even super heavy purple pillow with honeycomb shaped stuff - some of you would know exactly what i'm talking about... ) and this is THE ONE! At least it is for me. I do certainly hope it will last long, but as long as it last about a year also, i think it's still not a bad deal. It's standard sized pillow, so that's the only reason I gave 3 stars on the travel category. If they make the same exact pillow but 2/3 to 1/2 of its original length (everything else the same), that would be awesome. Otherwise, I gave 5 stars in the rest. ^_^

Solved my neck pain.
I had been having terrible neck pain on and off for the past year with my pillows. I alternated between an expensive latex pillow (solid not shredded) and 100% down and just could not get the right neck support. I looked for options for awhile and never was able to decide which way to go. Well after another couple weeks of constant neck pain I decided to try this one. I had a countered memory foam very similar to this about 20 years ago but it was no longer around. I decided to try this one as the price was good and figured it was worth a shot.I’ve been sleeping on it about 3 weeks now and have not woken up with neck pain since. It is very comfortable and my neck is very well supported. I am a back and side sleeper, and find it very comfortable either way.I’m about to travel for a week and now am trying to decide if I’ll have room to pack it in my suitcase or if I should order another to be delivered to my destination. I don’t want to be without it for a week! Can’t beat that.

Comfortable and supportive- great for travelling
I was worried that the pillow wouldn’t be high enough to support my neck and that it wouldn’t be possible to get it back into the bag again, however they were both fine. I find the pillow very supportive and comfortable. I’ve washed the cover which comes with it and it washed fine - didn’t shrink - but I did wash it in cold water as directed. I have managed twice to get the pillow back in the case, but it isn’t easy. It comes with a soft plastic tube into which you roll the pillow and then push the roll into the bag. It definitely fits in but would be so much easier if the bag was a touch larger. It fits into my backpack with room to spare. My daughter also tried the pillow and liked it very much so I would happily recommend it.

Inconsistent product
I first slept on this pillow at a relative's house. I am petite (5'3") and have been searching for a contour pillow with a lower profile and softer support. I slept on this and it was perfect. Perfect squish factor. So I ordered my own on Amazon. But mine does not have the soft squish factor; it has the squish factor of a standard-ish medium-support foam pillow. I've tried softening it up (heating pad plus sitting on it for hours at a time), with no noticeable loss of foam structure. So... the good news is that if you are looking for a standard contour pillow this one may keep its shape for a long time. But maybe the softer version will arrive instead. Who's to say? I'm at my relative's house again, and I can tell by squishing it with my hand how different the two are. Same look, same label, same extra layer of foam in the second pocket. Maybe they changed the material/foam supplier because people complained the previous one was too soft? Well, if you have the soft version and want to trade... I'm still looking for my perfect pillow.

Great for side sleeping, terrible for your back
As the headline says, this pillow feels amazing if you're a side sleeper. There are two distinctly different curvatures on either side of the pillow, and the lower one provides perfect alignment when on your side. The larger curve, however, is just simply too high. Whether on your back or side it cranes your neck at a very sharp angle from your body. I found it impossible to get full contact on a sleeping surface and always had a 2-3 inch gap where my shoulders were above the bed unsupported in order to lay my head on this pillow. I'm a 230 pound man and this pillow was WAY out of proportion for my size, and actually caused pain in any position other than on my side.If you're exclusively a side sleeper, this is probably a good pillow to get. Sturdy and supportive, and holds its shape well night after night. Zipper cover feels very high quality, and is easy to wash. Comes with a travel bag to roll up and save space in your luggage as well.

Does the job for what I needed...
I bought this pillow to help my head and neck deal with a slope on , yes, a water bed, that I have enjoyed for years. Now as I've gotten older and not as flexible I was trying to find a pillow that would we larger on one side and smaller on the other so that it would compensate for the slope of the bed as I laid on it. This pillow does the job, and I can take out a layer (that is nicely zippered) to make the pillow not as thick if needed. It has great support clear to the edges, which I wanted. My only issue is that it is not quite as wide as a regular pillow and therefore doesn't fit into a pillowcase very well, causing the pillow case to wrinkle. Oh well, I got 90% of what I was looking for!

Ajuste medio
Esperaba que la altura ajustable fuera suficiente, para mí no lo fue, faltó un poco
