Battery life was 3X better than the original that it replaced! Easy to replace.
I literally was ready to replace my Dyson v8 because of the pathetic battery life. It dawned on me to rethink and go to the battery replacement instead. This battery was much more cost effective than the Dyson branded battery. I decided to go with it.Just before replacing, I timed how long the original battery lasted: it was 3 minutes, 10 seconds.After replacing the battery with this one, the total runtime was 9 minutes, 57 seconds. While I was really hoping for something closer to 15 minutes, this battery definitely exceeds the capability of the original battery. We have a relatively small home. At least now, I can vacuum more than half of the upstairs without charging. Prior to changing the battery, I could only get through one bedroom and half the bath.SO much better, but not perfect!The battery was easy and straightforward to replace; took less than 5 minutes!

Very Short Life
I bought this battery in October 2024. Removal of the old Dyson battery and installation of this one was very easy. I use the Dyson primarily on hardwood floors and a couple of area rugs. Total use is less than 20 minutes a week.Just last week it abruptly stopped after less than three minutes of vacuuming. After recharging until all indicator lights came back on (full charge) and it only ran 1:43 before it stopped again.I know it was cheaper than a Dyson replacement but it wasn’t worth it. Next time I’ll buy the Dyson battery. I feel like I was scammed.
