Local Birds Loved It!
I used this mix for a window mounted bird feeder and the local birds loved the variety. Whenever I refilled the feeder, the birds would come back instantly to get some food almost like they were scouting out the refill times. Lots of cute birds like wood peckers, tufted tit mouse, and cardinals came. Great for winter as well when the birds need the extra energy stores.

Junco’s love it
It’s a great ground food for the jungles and ground birds. It has a great combination of the nuts with the seed. Some foods are very skimpy on the nut part, not this one

The BEST woodpecker feed
This is great woodpecker feed. For the most part the pieces are all a good size making it perfect for a wire mesh type feeder. When I bought it, it was provided and shipped by Amazon and the price was decent. Since then Amazon has dropped it and the remaining sellers want WAY too much for it. When I needed more, I bought Wagner's variety instead. It was quite a disappointment as 90% of that is tiny broken pieces better suited to a regular feeder that woodpeckers won't visit. I managed to find and order is from big orange (HD) at a good price and will continue to buy it from them.

Much More Corn Than the Picture Shows
I bought this mix to attract some of the larger local birds to my camera feeder and fewer finches. For that it works well. I have seen blue jays, red-winged blackbirds, nuthatches, chickadees, and woodpeckers. However, they all picked through the nuts and fruit, and left behind a bunch of corn. I would estimate the mix is 25-30% corn based on the amount remaining, and none of my birds like it.The image in the description makes it look like less than 5% corn and claims "no fillers". This is not my experience.

Only buy this if you're ready to buy it regularly!
The birds love this stuff, but I wasn't ready to have a cardinal scream at me through my bedroom window for it! If I had the means, this would be on auto-ship. My advice to anyone is to be ready to set up that auto-ship once your feathered kids try this stuff!
