We love this carpet cleaner! I just wish the premised came in a gallon refill bottle. However, since this carpet cleaner works so well, we will continue to buy it regardless. We have two large German shepherds, and two cats, one of which is special needs and incontinent. This carpet cleaner has no smell yet. It removes the stain and smell from any animal “oopsies” and we’ve used it for years.

We use this as a pre-treater for stains on the carpet, including dog accidents! Follow up with the Capture Rug and Cleaning powder. Let it all dry for a few hours or overnight to soak up what’s on the carpet. Sweep it away and stain is gone!

Sprayed this lightly on a high traffic area as directed and sprinkled the dry carpet cleaner too. After brushing in the powder in and leaving for several hours It all vacuumed out of the carpet after a few minutes of going in different directions slowly. With the clear debris chamber emptied and going over another time until there wasn't any powder picked up by the vacuum, It was easy to tell that it was all out with our Dyson like vacuum.The carpet smells great and feesl as soft as under the furniture again. No more renting a steam cleaner and wondering if we over wet it trying to get the carpet clean. This is a great product along with the dry carpet cleaner and we highly recommend for others to use. This was relatively easy to use but took some effort. There is a scent (lemony, pleasant and non- chemically) but it doesn't seem to have any artificial fragrance and never triggered any allergies. It is a very fine, almost damp powder. When used carefully and as directed, it doesn't become airborne, though when emptying my (non-bag) vacuum it did disperse a bit. I found that it did slightly clog my vacuum filters, but they are all rinse-able so it wasn't a problem. In all, it certainly isn't entirely fool- or hassle- proof, but much, much cheaper than a professional cleaning. Did it work??? Well... at first, yes. But after a few weeks some odor has come back. The issue I was trying to solve was from my dog who was dying of cancer for a few months, and leaking bloody drool (and maybe urine) onto the carpet. The stench when summer hit and I closed the windows was really bad, and this made it go away. For a while. When it came back, it was much less intense. I haven't re-applied yet. I also left it on for 6-8 hours, much longer than the instructions.

Excellent at cleaning food out of carpet. I used to buy this locally, but could not find it anywhere. I’m very glad that Amazon has the pre-spray for an excellent carpet cleaner.

Ran out, replaced with warm water. Really didn't notice any difference. The powder worked well either way.

It does the job

This stuff combined with the Capture Dry Cleaning powder is AWESOME! I had a pretty dirty area at the top of my stairs where a few years of high traffic had turned white carpet closer to dark grey carpet. I tried 4-5 different carpet cleaners but it would only go to light grey, and quickly turn back into dark grey after only a few weeks. I was just about to price getting new carpet when I tried Capture and holy cow the carpet looks as close to new as ever - it's definitely back to white with very few signs of dirt after 2 weeks! I really wish I had taken a "before" photo.After seeing the results, I also cleaned each individual step on the stairs and they look GREAT! My brother came over and asked if I had the carpet professionally cleaned. This product just saved me a ton of money, I'll never buy another brand of carpet cleaner again.
