Stainless Steel Plant Marker, 10" L Style, 50 Piece Bundle, Standard Duty #13 Gauge Posts

I've tried so many options to label my large Hosta collection and they all have either corroded or gotten bent or broken. I won't use any other plant markers now. These are a heavier gauge metal and are so much more durable than any others I've tried. I found them super easy to put together.I've ordered from Kincaid twice now and both came fast and packed well. I found out about them from a friend who has more than 1,000 Hosta varieties and saw the labels in her garden. So glad I found these! I use a Brother P-touch Tz label maker to print plant names and stick them on. Holds up to any weather, sun fading, etc.The surface of the plate is very shiny, so that is my only negative, I guess, but not enough to remove any stars. The shiny surface, though, does mean that some markers and paint pens may not stay as well.... hence the printed labels. I do wish they came in a matte finish.

Very happy with my Collector Series Plant Markers. I order 100 to start with. They are easy to assemble. I have another one hundred to order still. They are sturdy and even tough it's only been a couple months. They have withstood large dogs running through the hosta beds they are. Squirrels have been an issue with digging up my previous markers which were metal blind slats and stealing them to take back to their dens. I used the ptouch machine to use as labels and the many fonts you can use are pretty also. Very happy with my purchase.

These are nice, stainless steel, good quality. But the bend in the wire stake part was too steep so each wire loop end had to be pushed more upright to get the name plate to slide on. Not hard to do but have not had to do this on previous purchases.

We use this to label our vegetables, peppers and berry varieties. They hold up, even in the heavy watering required of desert dwellers, as we are.

Pricy but solid and easily put together. Should last well in the gardens over winter. Easy to read from above. Delivered efficiently and well packed.
