Ader Quicklee Collars for 1" Diameter Bar, PVC or Steel (1" Red Pair)

Years ago I purchased a number of "SLIPLOCK" barbell lock collars, sold by Bollinger, for my home gym. They are amazing: you simply slide it on the barbell bar and it locks the weight plates in place, until released by pulling on the "top hat" release knob. Won't come loose while you work out. Makes weight plate changes very quick.I recently returned to weight lifting after a hiatus and noticed that many of my original SLIPLOCK collars had developed cracks from years of use. I sought new ones but couldn't find them anywhere until I came across these Ader "Quicklee" Collars at Amazon. They are virtually identical to the original SLIPLOCK collars which were black in color. I suspect the change in plastic color from black to red/orange may be due to the substitution of a stronger plastic material to prevent cracks from developing.While not specified in the product description I find they work well on threaded barbell bars and dumbbells. If you are tired of spinning the threaded locking collar back and forth along a barbell bar to change plates you'll appreciate these Quicklee collars.

These collars make it so much easier to change the weight on my threaded barbell. They are a little pricey but with limited time to workout in the morning…they are worth their weight in gold. Thanks!

Love these. Makes switching weights quick and easy. They hold securely as well.

First I would say these are the best collars ever, easy on and easy off. I’ve used these for almost 20 years. The problem is that the manufacturing has become inconsistent. Sometimes they fit, sometimes they don’t and they’re sloppy and don’t hold. When they work they’re fantastic, if you get a pair that doesn’t hold exchange them.

I've used these for years. Needed another pair in order to leave dumbbells set up for declining weight sets. If there is anything easier and faster to use, I haven't found it. They never move. Period!

These used to be easy to find but now it seems like manufacturer is not making many or any . Glad to find these !!!! Way better than the spring kind
