These are ideal for emptying pools does the job.

I have an 18ft overground pool that I have had to empty twice to clear algae. I was really surprised at how quickly this small pump emptied the pool almost completely. It has been incredibly useful.The only improvement that I would suggest is that it would have helped to have a longer hose.I would highly recommend this product if you have a pool or hot tub.

I have a 12ft Bestway pool and draining it using the hose pipe is a long process so this year I decided to speed it up and try this pump. It arrived and I was surprised at how small it was but connected up the tube and added a 15m extention tube to it so it would reach the drain and placed it in the pool and turned it on. Well 2 hours later the pool was empty and I was very happy. Wish I had brought this years ago as it saves so much time. It does come with a hose adapter for standard garden hose pipe but so much quicker with the 32mm hose it also comes with. So quiet when running didn't think it was on.

Wish I found this earlier ! Very happy as almost empties my small pond which I finish off with a large sponge for the last inch. Good power with long tube for emptying onto my garden and great deal - would recommend :)

Life saver! Frightened I was buying an inflatable what the guy sitting in one and the box for one in the pictures. A few more of the actual items would be good. I just saw 1 pump in the ‘what’s in the box’ section. Fortunately came with the additional attachments.We have a 1198ltr spa and emptied in approximately 20mins. Started off using a hose pipe as the 5m tube supplied did not reach our drain but because of the diameter of the hose pipe it was taking forever so we switched to the supplied pipe and put the end to a better part of the garden and things really started to happen! Fortunately the ground soaked the water away. As in other comments it does leave a centimetre or two in the bottom but you can tip it out.It is a bit pricey but we took a chance. We couldn’t just open the plug on the bottom and let the water the water run out where the spa was situated. It needed diverting to the drain or a suitable soak away which is on the other side of the garden. It didn’t disappoint and are very happy with the purchase.
