When it comes to assemble-it-yourself furniture, the engineering is often bad and the furniture turns out to be more flimsy than you had hoped for. Well, I have good news for you here! This bed is impressive. Way better engineering than you might have hoped for; including the fact that they give you a ratcheting hex wrench for assembly! I have actually never encountered that before, but it's a big help. The bed is sturdy, attractive and easy to assemble (though, for any bed, I would strongly recommend two people). This product is a winner!!!

Took me about an hour and a half to put it together, was pretty simple and the parts aren’t to heavy, I’m a women and I didn’t this alone, not a 2 man job unless you want it down quicker, wood is kinda fragile but it will do.

3/19/23: With the help of my kids, this bed was somewhat easy to build. I hurt my knee a few months back so it’s hard to bend. Anywho, it’s easy enough to understand with the pictures and instructions on the book. It lists everything step my step what goes where. Sturdiness for me 200lbs and my son 45lbs. It doesn’t move. The bed stays put, so with physical activity or my child jumping on the mattress, it does stay in place. Headboard is soft. Should by at least a 12in mattress for this bed frame. This is my first week sleeping on it, so I will update if needed.

I was excited to find a bed frame that wasn't just metal for under $200 but was a bit worried it would be hard to assemble. The packaging was great and I had zero issues with it. The box itself weighed about 70lbs if that's helpful for anyone. The guide stated that it would take one person half an hour to assemble. I put it together myself and it took me just about an hour. As someone who does not assemble furniture often I was happy with that! It comes with a couple extra screws if you lose one and it came with a ratchet as well as a traditional Allen wrench which was amazing and definitely helped the process. The one note I'd have is that the instructions weren't necessarily super helpful. The pieces were labeled alphabetically, but the instructions listed everything as numbers so I had to figure out what each one was myself. There also were quite a few typos in the instruction guide. Also, you definitely want a 9" or bigger mattress. I have a 10" mattress and it's perfect with zero gaps! The headboard itself isn't super cushioned but it does look really nice. Overall I'm really happy with the bed frame and it definitely looks like it cost more than it did!

Frame is sturdy and looks clean. No odd chemical smells, the wood used for the base isn’t the strongest but it has held well with nightly use for a good few months now. Very happy with this purchase!

The headboard is very nice. I love the ribbing. The bed frame is not sturdy. The support legs keep folding up when bed is moved to clean. The plastic screw in legs wobble. I do not recommend this bed. Pretty but not sturdy.

Great frame. Love that it brakes down amd when need to move to a different location it all packs up in the headboard nicely. Only thing is I wish it sat a little higher then it does.
