The toothbat holds the floss more firmly and uniformly than you can hold it with your fingers. It fits comfortably in your hand and fits comfortably in your mouth. It's attractive and sits upright on your vanity. It does make it easier to get to your back teeth. The swivel option isn't really that helpful but doesn't diminish the positive aspects of the tool. I found that a thinner floss was more effective because it held in the grooves on the head better. Thicker floss had a tendency to pop out of the holder, negating the whole point of the tool and taking longer to floss because you have to re-thread the floss once it pops out of the groove. Overall I like using it because I feel like I get a better flossing with it which is the whole point. The floss did not stay on. This product is not for me because of the gap between my teeths are tight. Might work for others with less crowded teeth.

Definitely makes flossing easier and easily beats the other flossers on the market. It does take some practice keeping the floss tight and therefore avoiding it from slipping out of the channel. I have very tight contacts between my teeth making flossing difficult. With the thinner floss, I can work the holder around my mouth to get to more areas than with other flossers. If this item had a vibration function allowing me to easily work it between my teeth, I definitely give it 5 stars.

The distance between the two prongs isn't enough to allow comfortable cleaning for an adult.

This is a fantastic little device! I never flossed until the dentist told me to start a routine. I didn't like the idea of spending money on those little floss holders that you use and throw away and found this. Wrapping the floss around the legs is easy and securing it is quick. It fits so nicely in the mouth and doesn't require any strenuous finagling. Very handy!

Directions for use are not useful. I returned the item.
