Create Knit Cables in Crochet
If you're a crocheter longing to duplicate knitted cable designs, or a knitter who has lost patience with the complexities of knitted cables, this book is for you. And, if you don't fit into either of those categories, but just like crocheting or knitting, this book is for you, too! There really are new things under the sun, and this book is one of them. Kim Guzman has come up with a totally unique way of duplicating knitted cable designs in Tunisian crochet. Once you've learned the concepts, you'll be able to duplicate any knitted cable design in Tunisian crochet, which looks like knitting--but is faster to make, harder wearing and more unique than knitting, since it cannot be duplicated by machine.Kim's projects are clever and elegant. And, you can use her methods to copy most knitted cable patterns, and do it in a way that is faster and more fun than knitting. These methods are unlike anything you've ever seen before. Even confirmed knitters and those unfamiliar with Tunisian owe it to themselves to learn this clever new way of creating cable patterns.

If you only buy one book on Tunisian Cables, this should be it!
Kim Guzman is my go-to author for all things Tunisian crochet and this book has been on my wish-list for a while now. I gave up on hinting and hoping that my family members would gift me it and finally decided to treat myself. I'm so glad that I did!The projects cover the full range from beginners at this technique to some wonderfully challenging projects. The patterns are clear and the techniques are fully explained. I couldn't be happier!

Good but not great
This is a nice book with quite a number of interesting ideas and projects. The examples are helpful, but not great, and the overall design of the book needs help. It doesn't make me excited to jump into a project like some other books do.

Beautiful projects
This book seems to be for the more experienced Tunisian Crochet enthusiast, but I am going to try it any way. I wish there was an afghan pattern in it but I think it would be easy to take one of the patterns and transform it into an afghan.

OMG!!
Who knew cables could be done with a crochet hook!!!! If you are more of a visual person and need to SEE how it works, there are many videos on YouTube to help with these special stitches. This book also offers an abundance of beautiful projects. My mother in law who had been an avid knitter for 60 years, could not believe her eyes!! Once you get the hang of it, cables will become very easy to do.

Beautiful Patterns
I really like this book. I have completed one of the included patterns thus far and plan to do more as time allows. Ms Guzman's instructions are easy to understand. I definitely will be purchasing more of her books as I can.

Interesting
This is an interesting and informative Tunisian crochet book. It is a step beyond the regular Tunisian stitches which is what I was looking for. I haven't tried any of the patterns yet. But I am anxious to jumpin!

Not what I was expecting
What can I say, I am not really in love with the patterns inside and I don't find the instructions very clear, especially when there are no pictures accompanying the text. Not a bad book, but not great either.

Five Stars
Great book even though I'm still learning and haven't finished anything yet.

Great little book if you want to learn how to do cables in Tunisian Crochet
This slim book explains how to do cables in Tunisian crochet, with diagrams and clear explanations. It also contains 11 projects to try out the technique, which showcase the look and use of cables in Tunisian. A number of the wraps and scarves look very inviting, and I am looking forward to trying out cables in this new way

Not bad but tiring instructions
Well, English is, next to German, my mother tongue. Nevertheless, it's hard to follow the row by row instructions. It would have been better to have used graphic charts like in the "Tunisian Crochet Stitch Guide". Nice projects though.
