Pretty cool, I like it and it has a web interface accessible from my desktop or my phone
Previously I was using a 4x2 HDMI matrix switch but needed more outputs for future additions. Something that I especially like is that when I select a different output/input combination is that the ONLY output that blanks out is the output being switched. All the other outputs remain on supplying video from whatever input they are selected to. My old switch would blank out everything while it was switching and the old switch took as much as 10-12 seconds to switch. That was a pain. This switch switches in a couple of seconds. It was easy to configure. Rather than having to change my computer IP address to connect to it's web interface I used the front panel menu to switch it into DHCP and rebooted it to grab an IP address from my router. After finding it in my router I was able to logon to the matrix switch with my web browser. It has a nice web interface for configuring the switch including setting up EDID if needed and establishing defaults relationships between inputs and outputs and if desired configuring multiple input/output combinations that can be selected remotely or from the front panel.All-in-all I'm satisfied.I'm revisiting this to say that I really like using the web interface to remote control my 4x4 switch. This is a great convenience. You can also see at a glance which outputs and inputs have live connections and see which is lined up to which output The web interface also allows you to control the onboard audio outputs, control the EDID configuration, he network IP configuration and system o reset the system password, reboot the switch. I think too the firmware is able to be updated as well.I just found that J-Tech has an Android app to remote control their products. I installed this from the Play Store and It works great. It's even easier to use than just launching the web interface from my phone because the web interface from the phone has way more controls and you might need to expand the display size with the pinch zoom. This Android app is much clearer to utilize. You can name the inputs and outputs, they you just touch the name of the output you want to switch then he app pops up a menu listing the names of your inputs to select from. Really slick and easy.Update: The more I use this matrix switch the more I like it. It's a great convenience being able to switch it from an app on my mobile phone. On the other hand I cannot say the remote included with it is any good. It has to be pointed directly at the sensor to get it to receive the signal. My phone on the other hand because the switch is connected to my home network via Ethernet cable can be switched from anywhere in the house.Again all-in-all I'm very satisfied.

Cannot connect to webGUI, and thus cannot edit EID audio
Essentially every default EID setting is stuck at 2.0 (stereo). The ONLY way to edit this is with the Web GUI, which is locked at 192.168.1.168. Regardless whether I use DHCP or set the IP manually, no computer on my network will connect to this IP. Which leaves the unit stuck on stereo.EDIT:I was able to resolve the network issues, but the audio settings I thought would be in the Web GUI are missing. The product says it supports "Dolby True HD | DTS-HD Master Audio" - these are nowhere to be found anywhere. There are only 2.0 options. Further, there is nothing in the manual that says how to enable "Dolby True HD | DTS-HD Master Audio ". This product is not as advertised.

Good for live video, but required firmware update for non-HDCP displays
Purchased the 4K60 with audio model to help route auxiliary video feeds from cameras and laptops in a livestreaming setup.Pros:- Switching the source on one output doesn't interrupt the others.- Accepts signals from long (40') HDMI cables.- Does not add any extra frames of video latency.- Output selection and EDID/audio configuration persists after power-off.Tips:- For each input, remember to set the EDID to a format that all the desired output destinations can accept.Difficulties:- The Phoenix connectors on the analog audio outputs don't leave a lot of clearance for the HDMI connectors. Check the fit; you may need to use different cables with slimmer ends.- Routing non-HDCP sources to non-HDCP destinations: Initially I could not get a picture when outputting to an ATEM Mini Pro or an HDMI field monitor, until I updated the firmware via RS-232. I found the firmware on the J-Tech website, on the product page for this matrix switch. I already had a USB-to-serial adapter, but I needed to build a cable that went from DE9 to Phoenix.Once I updated the firmware to version 0.2.6 it worked as expected.

Does what itโs suppose to
I made the mistake of thinking this was a video wall controller but itโs actually a TV splitter. Does what it says, hd video quality was nice

Good 4x4 matrix
Company has good, us-based tech support.Unit does what it's supposed to, except that feature to rename inputs in the web app doesn't work

No built-in EDID support for digital audio formats such as True HD or ATMOS
No built-in EDID support for digital audio formats such as True HD or ATMOS. The built-in EDID options only allow two channel PCM audio. If copy-EDID is an option for you, then that does work for passing through ATMOS. I was able to copy-EDID from my Denon ATMOS-ready AVR HDMI output. It retains the copy-EDID even if the device it's copying from is powered off. Though, one time it randomly "forgot" and it was a PITA to get it working again. Not sure if that was a one-off issue or something that will happen again. I'm probably going to send this back because of the EDID issue and also because it requires two button presses on the remote control to switch inputs. You can create custom presets but these cannot be accessed via remote control as there is no button on the remote which can call up a preset. Nor is there any way to create a button that could be added to a universal remote. I'm not a fan of the web GUI. At least not compared to other HDMI matrix. This is a rebranded device and the support is based in the USA but I don't think it's firmware is being developed in the USA. So, the support is nice if you're a home theater newbie who can't handle basic issues on your own. But forget about using the support for advanced issues or bug support. I got the impression there will be no updating of firmware to fix bugs. And so, my search for the perfect HDMI 4k60 matrix under $500 continues. Minus two stars for lack of built-in digital audio EDID and a crappy remote control.
