After one winter that left these plant markers sitting under snow for months, I can say...total win. Bought these last fall to mark and label new peonies on the recommendation of the peony seller, and after the snow melted this spring I'm happy to say the labels look as good as new. I'd recommend buying these with a Brother P-Touch (I used PT2030AD bought here on Amazon) and the laminated P-touch tape for Indoor & outdoor use (I used TZe2312PK, again, from Amazon). Initial cost seems steep, but for what this combination of plant markers and labeling equipment has saved me in time, aggravation, and disappointment with labels that haven't lasted a season, it was totally worth it. Plus, it makes the garden look tidy and organized, marks plant locations before they come up, helps me keep the varieties straight, and will help my daughter learn the names of the plants in her garden. I've just purchased the 6" versions of these this morning for the shorter herbs in the herb garden.
