Transforming Auto Robot Decepticon Auto Emblem - [Chrome Finish][3 1/2'' Tall]

it's a plastic emblem of the Depticon's logo. Has a nice shine to it, is a nice size - not too big, not too small - and matched perfectly with the same sellers Autobots emblem! I have one of each sitting on each side of my license plate. Time will tell on the wear and tear of it, but from the other reviews, I have high hopes for durability!

The adhesive has worked through several car washes. Doesn’t have a single scratch. Good quality. Functional. Some kids saw it on my car and thought it looked cool. Great price.

Much bigger than I thought it would be but that's my fault and not the manufacturer's. It's hard plastic with a 3M adhesive backing (which can be removed from your vehicle's pinted or plastic surface with acetone aka nail polish remover). It's flat and needs a flat surface for good adhesion. If you put it on a curved surface expect automatic car wash brushes to catch the edge and try to rip it off. Ask me how I know. Vert shiny (like chrome). Probably best for bigger trucks as it's size is kinda distracting and quite obvious. maybe that's what you want. I needed something smalled but that is my mistake and not the manufacturer.

Just put this Decepticon badge on the car today so we will see how it stands up to the Florida heat. Looks sturdy though and I definitely love it! Great item at a great price thank you!

Gives my car a nice slick look. Stays in place and survives in a car wash. I can see the fear in people's eyes when they see it. Put this on your car for intimidation and protection.

So after looking at all of the options for decepticon emblems on amazon, I picked this one because I thought it looked like the emblems used in the recent movies. But when I got it in the mail, it was the original! The eyes were triangular and placed a little lower (the original symbol) I still can't complain too much though because the chrome looks awesome and will look great on my car. Most people can't tell the difference between the original and the re-design so it's no big deal, I just expected it to look like the picture.UPDATE: When I bought this emblem in 2012, it looked like the picture displayed here on Amazon (as of today 2-20-2017). HOWEVER, the actual emblem that you will receive is the updated modern (movie) version of the decepticon logo...which is the picture they originally had up before putting the old school one up. So basically, I have received both the old school and new school versions. I will say, though, that the newer version is of much cheaper quality. Very cheap plastic and it does not come with 3M tape like the old emblems came with. I will post a picture of the 2017 emblem that I received. So far, it is on my truck but I doubt it'll last as long as the one I bought in 2012 (which is still on my Acura to this day).
