Bought as a replacement for my Humax, Youview box. No set up required and it worked fine straight away. Can, apparently, be used to control the TV as well but instructions rather vague so I haven’t bothered and I didn’t use the original Remote to control the TV anyway.

The Yese controller is not identical to the Humax. There is no button to access recordings directly, but you can access your recordings through the Y button below the OK and then use the scrolling buttons to access your recordings. There are no directions provided with the controller on how to do this and no information easy to find on the internet but I posed the question to Amazon answers and this is what came back. I tried it and it worked. In other ways the controller appears to be identical and it works fine though feels a little lightweight.

Bought months ago as a spare. Tried it tonight, November, too late to return. Does not display recorded material on the Humax. This is one of the primary reasons I have a Humax; to record and watch later. Waste of money! Awful! That is the first time EVER I have written negative feedback.

Works, though buttons not as responsive as the original.

Prompt delivery, but did not work with my Humax 5000t, so I returned it for a refund, which was sorted quite quickly. Happy with the service I received from this supplier.

This remote is a replacement for the original remote which we had for years. Very plasticy light weight, controls have always been a bit sticky, although just at 3 months old the buttons have stopped working properly and now need a replacement.I would avoid buying and just buy the original make you require, this one is frustrating to use and not cost effective.
