Quick and Easy! Worth it!!
Very easy to use! Plugs into my husband’s newer car and mine which is older! We originally got it to change his breaks, but now we are wondering why we didn’t purchase sooner to have around just incase. Beats going to a shop and walking in awkwardly while waiting for someone to diagnose your car. And it even has an app for your smartphone!!!

Worth the price and support is excellent !
For the price it’s worth it. I've been using this scanner since 2021. Unlimited license for different makes and bidirectional controls for free. Used in my bmw, Mercedes, ford, jeep, Chevrolet, gmc, Toyota, Lexus, jaguar, Land Rover, Honda, Acura, Volvo, Mazda and mercury vehicles. Also worked in hybrid models (Prius, Camry and ford) initially I have it in my iPhone but the updates are much faster in Android phones. Support is really superb since you can contact them directly if you encounter issues and they have quick turn around for fixes as long as you are in the Android platform. Been using it for years with minimal issues and the flashlight feature is very useful looking up that obd port underneath. I have an Autel scanner but it cost me a lot just to maintain the license annually for every model.

When it works, it is great, but don't lose the paper like I did
[UPDATED: I had the wrong email address for support]When this works, it is great. The flashlight feature is a nice idea, if a little useless. I loved all of the information. However, I am frustrated that if you have to reinstall the app and you lose the paper with a code on it, you have a useless piece of paper. I have emailed the support and they responded with the code I needed. xtooldirect@outlook.com is the one that worked. Yeah, kinda sketch. So, it feels more like a disposable thing than a long term tool. The bluetooth connection was occasionally glitchy, but I could usually get it to connect. The data collection is slow, but I think that is a result of the data protocol.

Handy little device with top notch customer service!
Great little gadget, works great. But even better is this company's excellent customer service. Had a small issue with the app and the company responded to my email quickly and with a solution to my problem! 10/10

Excellent fix for resetting adaptive transmission without having to go to the dealer
Worked well to reset adaptive transmission. Had to reach out to customer service and they were quick to respond and help resolve an update issue.

Takes 30 Days to Refund for Defaulted Scanner
I contacted the seller and they tried to help by sending me other downloads, but none of them worked so I returned item. I have to wait 30days in order to receive refund on the scanner that I only had for a few days. Not Fair to purchase defaulted item and have to wait a month to get my money back.

Contender for the worst companion app
For the price, I expected better. Build quality is OK, the software updates are free, but the companion app is complete garbage and just as cryptic as a $15 Harbor Freight scanner. Does it work? Sure. Unfortunately reading the codes isn't intuitive and not much better than a cheapo unit. For what it is, it's way overpriced and nothing special. Back to the hunt for a decent OBDII scanner that is user-friendly and subscription free.
