Great product

We needed a replacement hose for our portable a/c. It was easy to install and works perfectly.

As stated, appears to made of good quality heavy duty plastic, so hopefully will last awhile. Assembly is super easy. However, if you notice, the actual vent hole at the window is very large and there is very little surrounding plastic. This makes installing this on windows that have a bottom ledge trim piece that sticks up any distance from the bottom of the window sill problematic. As such, the large vent plastic piece hits my bottom window trim piece leaving a fairly large gap above the bottom window sill. I'll have to add another insulation piece under the plate which kind of defeats the purpose of getting it in the first place. No idea why they don't make the exhaust plate just slightly wider to avoid this issue which I'm sure a lot of people will have.

Yes, it is Chinese, i know. The hose is great. it works exactly how i wanted it to and it seems tough enough to last. The part for the window is junk. I got mine to work, but had to do some work for attaching and used it backwards, so the hardware wasn't on the outside. I was also hoping to be able to remove the small nozzle with the hose when i need the AC to go somewhere else, but i will have to remove a screw I needed to hold the hose in the right place. It fit, kind of, but would not stay or actually clip into place. If I had to, I would not buy this vent kit again

We have had a portable a/c unit for a good long while now. The plastic was starting to have discoloration from UV exposure and the hose began to unravel. We aren’t in the market to purchase a new unit, especially since this one works just fine. We searched replacement window accessories for the unit and found this. It isn’t an exact fit, but it definitely works just fine.

Missing two wingnuts so I couldn't actually assemble it.EDIT: If you also find yourself missing parts, their sizes are metric so in the US if you need to go for wingnuts or washers. We had to go to ACE hardware and try their loose wingnut options and almost couldn't find anything until we realized the different sizing.
