Bought this after a family member recommended it. I’ve really enjoyed the historical references and the deeper dive into the word of God.

I have purchased multiple copies of this translation now. This, like each of the others has held up nicely. I've purchased several of the teal, the purple and this one. The Fuchsia one is by FAR my favorite coloured one. However, be forewarned, the photo looks red online however it is fuchsia pink. (Which was delightful to me, but might not be if you are expecting red.) Good quality.

To all those knocking this version, compare this to the codexes, not other versions. All translations are versions. Just because this does not necessarily conform to what they expect, does not and should not bring scorn or complaint from those who are not really looking for a new translation. After all what is the point of writing, in effect, to complain that is version is different from their favourite version, or versions.AFTER ALL THEY ARE ALL VERSIONS.If you dont like it, no problem, but don't rip it apart on those grounds.Beware the Jewish priests rejected Jesus because they didnt like his version!!!
