Kings of Chaos: A Dark Reverse Harem Romance (Dirty Broken Savages) Paperback – June 18, 2021

Every word of this book is just downright ridiculous, each and every one of these characters are an amalgamation of all the middle school girl wattpad fanfiction that exists in the world. Everything is unnecessarily edgy and some of the lines in this book had me laughing out loud.SPOILERS:One character goes off about how writing in books is societally frowned upon but he does it anyways because nobody can tell him what to do!!!A girl dresses up like a hooker to go hunt down her enemy and then before killing him theres a makeup montage where she gets out her spirit halloween face paint 2.99 set to make her face look like a skull for the DRAMA. Another character calls her an “angel of death” upon seeing her.The author loves describing eye details with the same merit of a teenage girl writing her first self insert fanfic. Every time she describes someones eyes the author has to put some hilarious description in front of it, “freshly cut grass”, “ice blue” etc i would not have been surprised at all if the author said “windex blue” at any point.The action and violence is so cartoonishly stupid there is a short bit of a cartoonish pimp smacking a woman just because DUH that needed to happen obviously.Everyone is so ridiculously, hot topically edgy, random self harm, random overly described bouts of madness which are meant to be seen as very alarming and hard edged freaky but it all comes across as miss ebony darkness dementia raven way.This book is so wonderfully awful, I was glued to every word, i read it in all one go. I could read ten more of these, its like watching a forest fire. This is the dumbest silliest plot, with the dumbest cartoonishly edgy characters all wrapped up in a beautiful bow patterned with those early 2000s happy bunny pictures that say stuff like “youre cute I hate you” and “im cute but psycho”.Nothing about this has any depth or reason, this has the dimmension of the crappy emo drawings I made in middle school, everything is so unapologetically terrible that I am just obsessed.So, definitely definitely recommend this book for the entertainment but dont expect quality, expect a wild ride and expect to come out with some eyeshadow and painted nails.

This was a ride! And that cliffhanger!!!! OMG!!There was drama, snark, sassy FMC, touch her & … there were so many things I love about this and I cannot wait to start book 2!Check your TW and come join the Chaos because this was great!

I am obsessed. Each of the kings is SO well written and the way they interact with river falls completely in line with the way their characters have been built. I can’t wait for the next one!!

I read all three of the books. I just couldn't be truly invested. Too much repetitive thought process in all the characters. So if I tell you what is happening in the story, I don't have to say it again in layman's terms right after it happened. You'll understand when you read. Because like many things, one man's trash is another man's treasure. The plot is truly fantastic. If I take out 40% of the excess these books would be pretty awesome. There are grammatical errors that are hard to over look. Not a slow burn, which I like. But a little too much. FMC is a masochist. One of her men is a sadist. So it works. Knox makes me want to get some slices. You know? Gage is a little too much and Ash is your normal whore with trauma followed by some really romantic love making. Priest. Mmhmm. Now we're talking! That says something about me, I guess. But dang! Gage is your typical Alpha jerk. He says jump and you're supposed to listen. But our FMC, she is everything. Hard and soft. Strong but super weak and needy. Full of trauma where you just want her to stop cutting!The delivery though! Ugh! It was dry. (For me) Too much added crap that was so boring I got frustrated. The sex in the book was detailed. If you don't like that, don't read. Again with the large members and no lube in the back door! What is that all about? This is not logical. I know it's a book but even with my vampires and werewolves I need logical love making.Okay so 3 out of 5 due to the annoying humdrum of the writing. Too much detail in a lot of the books and some not enough. Contradicting, I know. There is incest in the book. Which makes you hate the bad family even more. The plot at the end was riveting! However, every detail goes into the destruction. It goes off track a bit.I did enjoy the books. But they took me forever to get through. I would pick a movie I've seen 10 times just to not read. This is not normal. I have to finish what I start.Enjoy,I did but I didnt!

Do you know how you can become lost within a book and accidentally finish it within a few hours? This is one of those books. I could’ve sworn that I had only read a few chapters but in reality I was over 50% through the book. You become so engrossed within the story and the characters that it’s easy to get to lose track of time. It’s been a while since I’ve had a book do this and I loved it.The first half continually ramped up then it slowed down a little bit and picked up right until the end. I was trying to figure out how this book would lead into a second book because it kind of seemed like things were being tied up. Then there were multiple surprises and plays on emotions within the last few pages and you know book 2 is going to be a whole new adventure.We learn a decent amount about the female main character, River. I’m sure will delve a little bit more within the next book. Although the book was multiple points of view, we were only given glimpses of the men, enough to make you very curious. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite just yet but I think I know who I’m leaning towards. Maybe. I’m looking forward to learning more about them, their dynamic and their pasts.This is probably not the most original storyline but it is pure entertainment. The author is a great storyteller and I can’t wait to binge the next book.

First let me tell you that having such a strong and independent female as FMC it’s like a breath of fresh air!She’s so decided and so strong that even with a bunch of Adonis as her roommates she didn’t let her hormones lead her mind.The guys are kind of a mystery in some parts, but that just help build the tension!!And the cliff??? I have no ideia the true explanation for this!!

Damn, that is one hell of a book.So much violence, pain and hurt, while brimming with rough steaming hot smut!

Book 1 was chaos alright, when you think the story made sense and got to the point we are left with that kind of cliffhanger we definitely wasn’t expecting.A Girl with attitude, revenge on her agenda and she ticks all the right boxes for 4 psycho guys who run a nightclub and money laundry behind the scene, when the girl finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time is it really meant to be.River is the FMC and she’s everything you want in a dark book.She’s just a broken woman with one thing left to do before she’s fulfilled her revenge once and for all.She’s not had it easy since she’s caught the attention of Gage and his best friends who run the nightclub and underground business.But she seems to have had a effect on them in ways I don’t even think they knew they needed or wanted.Each character is broken in one way or another and it’s like Rivers revenge brought her to where she is needed and they all definitely need each other in one or anotherWas suppose to be a simple plan of a win win situation and as most things they never usually go that way. So with a cliffhanger like that it’s opened more questions and wondering where it leave River and the guys after this Bomb.It’s got it’s own little quirkiness, a dog that you can’t help but laugh with some of the scenes he’s in and brings something to the story too.It’s also dark too with Rivers past and what some of the guys share with her can’t be good for anybody with triggers.

NO SPOILERS - I really hate that in a review lol. Simple and sweet. This book is f****** hot and pulls on your emotions and you know it’s a great book when the author can garner emotions from you. I’m recently really loving darker books and this does not disappoint! I can’t wait for book 2. Read this in one day! I am a massive fan of Eva and her books do not disappoint ! I also loved her FMC, sometimes when authors can make them annoying when trying for a badass FMC but she wasn’t stupid and was also raw and human. Loved everything about the book hence the rating, just get it and find out ! Side note I hope we can see some m/m in the future Eve ;).
