Take Me With You When You Go

After reading "All The Bright Places", Jennifer Niven found a special spot in my heart. Couldn't live it enough so I knew I had to read any book she writes and here again, I'm happy I read it. I think this colaboration with Mr.David was a brilliant one. Loved the story overall and the way it follows the epistolary form in emails is another one of its best perks.Packaging was not the best but thankfully got the book in good condition. Thank you.

i finished this beautiful beautiful book and i am so glad i picked it up and finished in one of my rough days. it managed to keep me off from reality and I'll take it as a win for today 💓An epistolary novel, transpires in the form of e-mails between siblings Bea and Ezra, Take Me With You When You go starts off when Bea, departs home and leaves a secret e-mail id for her brother Ezra to communicate.As the novel unfolds, grief pours out in their to and fro mails, as Ezra tries to accept the fact that his sister is gone forever leaving him to deal with the mess that is their abusive home. A story that paves it's way deep into your heart and wrecks you for an ETERNITY.This is a story of grief and everything that comes along with it, of grief that remains buried deep, acceptance of oneself and realising that you deserve to be loved.

The book is all about a toxic life of two siblings.And how they deal with it . Their experiences of being left alone.The book contains only email.The sibling speaks through their email.Truly a magical book.

Okay I was not expecting this book to be so painful.This is the story of Bea who runs away from her home. She leaves behind her brother, Ezra, and they communicate via email.The thing is they have a very unhappy life at home. Their mother neglects them and their stepfather abuses them. They feel unloved and neglected.I just felt so so bad for Ezra and Bea. Most of us have a loving mother and a doting father, and somehow we take their love for granted. But in reality, unfortunately, many children don't know what love feel like. This book made me realise the fact that I'm so lucky to have such parents.I honestly felt so bad for them. I wanted to give Bea and Ezra the biggest hug. All they ever wanted was love from their mother but they didn't get it. I'm just glad they have each other.All the characters felt so realistic. I abhorred their mother and stepfather. They can rot in hell. But there were so many characters in this book who supported them in dire times and I'm so grateful for those characters. It shows you there are good and bad people everywhere.Overall, it was an intensely emotional read for me. It was quite painful at times but I loved this book thoroughly. I'd definitely recommend this book.

𝚃𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝙼𝚎 𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝙶𝚘 is a deeply introspective book. It speaks a lot about human relationships and the nuances that make and break them. It's not an easy read, because there are instances when you will connect with the characters and their underlying trauma, and it will hurt. Oh boy it will hurt.But, if anything, you will learn, again and again, that hurt gives way to hope. That where there is humanity, there is resilience.In a gist, the book is about two siblings, Ezra and Bea, who are both trying to set themselves free of an abusive past. Ezra's narrative is not as extreme as Bea's, but he has his own share of struggles with being gay and not being able to rely on anyone.𝘽𝙚𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 21, 𝙨𝙤 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙄. think that is where the book hit me the hardest. It's difficult when characters bring you face front with your own self, and lead you down a road of introspection.This book is a journey. There are twists and turns, and there's also a lot to hold on to. The characters have real flesh and reading about them will help you gain perspective on trauma, and how children are often deluded into thinking that bad things happen to them because they ask for it.Nobody deserves to live in pain. Some people involuntarily choose to.So, read this book. Read it to gain insight. Read it to know that you deserve a life filled with light and hope. Read it to validate the rights you have- for healthy relationships, love, friendship, and faith.Read it because it is a poem on human nature.

I liked the character development. I liked the accuracy of how child abuse was portrayed and how people who live within it function and communicate. I also liked the way that no one saved them except themselves and a few good people who were strangers, acquaintances and one significant other.

Bella storia, nello stile tipico dell'autrice.Ho trovato originale il formato epistolare, anche se adeguato ai moderni mezzi di comunicazione, e anche il finale non è del tutto scontato.Molto lineare l'inglese, decisamente scorrevole.Spero che questa recensione vi sia stata utile
