Sturdy, Well Constructed, Easy to assemble and use
Excellent product, almost certainly overkill for my homelab, but very sturdy with easy access to all sides while also being enclosed to help keep basement dust out as much as feasible. The thermostat-controlled cooling system is easy to use and works as advertised.Obviously for sometime so large the assembly is involved, but it is straightforward and clearly documented.

A great cheap rack that looks great but could throw beginners a curve
This rack looks great, just don't stare too closely at it or its flaws begin to show but for the price there's really not a lot to complain about... it's a steal/bargain. Most people have little to no experience with rack assembly or maintenance (this includes some professionals), so like ikea furniture this is designed to be quick to throw together and get up and running on any experience level.Instructions could be clearer in some areas and in all honesty are slightly out of order. There is little point in putting on the side panels before you add the shelf or door. Additionally, if you are unaware of how the clips they include work it is easy to install them backwards and potentially compromise the unit (it was very clear which was the wrong way though, so I cant complain but a little picture "put it in this way dumb dumb can't hurt" (lol). Aside from that there's really not much more to say. It works, and the shelf holds a good amount of weight. For heavy equipment you'll want fixed rails or better clips. The amount of bolts/clips/etc. they include for your future setup post install is very generous. To be clear, if you as a potential customer are expecting a server farm grade rack you're out of luck. The comparison is quite apt here to ikea furniture. It will get you up and running and look pretty slick, but there's definitely thicker racks with better noise cancellation and more bells and whistles. The fans themselves can be quite loud depending on the overall ambient temperature, and if you are in a dusty environment you may not like the idea of the perforation on the door or the penetration from the fans.An overhead hood to an exhaust can be beneficial to keep the overall ambient under control, and if you were ambitious enough to do so you could cut fan positions on the bottom, block the perforation, and create a custom loop. However, this is not really something that sysracks or any rack manufacturer will likely support out of the box as it falls under your initial or post setup requirements and the coordinator should be knowledgeable to work these issues out before purchasing a rack. I can't knock the design of this budget rack. I considered purchasing a more expensive model but as this was an AV setup for a home network, it wasn't required. That said, it is great for all levels of experience and is great budget hardware comparable to a studio apartment in preparation for the house you might eventually need but plan your purchase out in advance. 22U fills a good deal of equipment and may be perfect for your project. Best of luck

Decent rack for the price
This is a nice rack for the price but it is not without its flaws. The four corner posts were not that easy to assemble due to the design. There is a bit of a hook on both the top and bottom pieces that make installing the posts rather difficult. I'm not sure if I didn't quite get all the posts in all the way because there is a little bit of a misalignment in one of the side panels. Also, one of the hooks broke off during installation (making that post 200% easier to install). The posts are secured with screws so I'm not really sure what benefit this design gives. When I have everything closed up, nothing is noticeable though and it looks good. The doors and side panels have little rubber nubs that silence the sound of metal on metal when using them. A good practice, but a bad execution here. Out of the box, pretty much all of them came out of the doors during shipment. I replaced them, and also used the other ones provided with the hardware. I then found out why they came out during shipping. They can fall out of the door panels if you look at them wrong. While they push in and have a seam to hold them in place, they are constantly falling out. I'm surprised I haven't lost one in the carpet yet.The front door handle I got isn't functional. It came a bit scratched up, the screws that came with it are too short so I can't screw it in properly, and I think I got the wrong locking bar for it (unless I'm using the wrong one on the back panel). This isn't a problem for me because it still closes and stays closed, I don't need everything to be locked up, and I would find locking and unlocking the front door all the time to be annoying given my usage. It is something to be wary of, however. The rack's fan controller needs some kind of volume control. The beeps are loud enough that I am considering removing the speaker somehow even though I haven't really used it much. It is that loud and chirps on every button press. Replaceable fans would have been nice too. At some point the top fans will need to be replaced and I see no way to do so without splicing cables. As others have said, the manual is quite terrible but in the end it's not really complicated to figure out and assemble.Given the price I do find it to be a good, enclosed server rack and overall I am happy with it despite its flaws. I would say, however, that if one has the means to make an enclosure themselves then that would be a better route to take.

Solid Rack
Highly recommend. Rack shipped quickly, arrived without any notable damage [fan controller was DOA but seller was responsive with replacement]Rack is straightforward to assemble and feels extremely solid. Airflow feels adequate with both passive and active cooling. Plenty of room for cables and full-size servers.Rack Mounted: Two Dell R710, Gaming computer, Managed switch, NUC and UPS.Passive cooling my rack setup sits at about 75-78 FWith active cooling, temps quickly drop to 68-72 F. Included fans audible but not excessive in sound levels. Fan controller doesn't seem to use temp ranges to control the temp (i.e. fan cycles frequently rather than allowing the temp to rise a few degree's before pulling it back down)
