In a Japanese Garden Coloring Book: With Reflections from Lafcadio Hearn's 'In a Japanese Garden' Paperback – August 23, 2016

More than I expected.

This book is so lovely, the illustrations are fantastic, and the paper is of such an excellent quality that I bought it to accompany a new set of 150 Prismacolor Premier colored pencils that I gave as a birthday present.

This may be one of the most amazing coloring books that I have ever seen! It has copies of the original prints on one side, in full color, with the coloring page on the opposite side. The drawings are detailed and even without color, are absolutely stunning. The book is a little bit larger than a normal sized coloring book, but that just means that there are more details to admire! The paper is fairly heavy and will stand up to markers, pens or pencils, easily. I may need to keep a copy of this one on hand, without coloring it because it really is beautiful.

The coloring book is very beautiful and great quality. I was disappointed that it came so damaged and covered in sticky fingerprints that would not come off and make it hard to store as things stick to it and almost tear the cover

Very detail oriented. I've been coloring for a while so I like the challenge, you need to concentrate..matching the colors is sometimes a huge challenge.... I mix the colors on occasion. The precolored pages are beautiful. Love this book.

Definitely in the top 3 of the 100 ACB's that ive purchased. Love having colored version's right next to the page that im working on. Sometimes i dont want to pick the color myself.. i hope Tuttle puts out more like this, but with samurai, yokai, and oni. Their book called The Floating World is pretty kool also . Nice quality paper also.

Can only use pencils to color as paper is slick and markers bleed.

This is a perfect choice for Japanese art enthusiasts who enjoy fine detail coloring. The blank coloring prints are accompanied by a full color replica on the adjoining page. Very helpful for the purists, but go rogue with your own color palette, if you choose.
