Confusing to put together at first, color is darker than expected, but definitely worth the money.
The instructions seem to be missing a few steps and I had to change the direction of some of the parts. Luckily, a little bit of common sense goes a long way, and it was easy to figure out after looking at it for a little bit. The color was a bit darker, and almost has a slight olive tint to it, and I anticipated a more cream/ivory color. Still very cute and I do like it a lot. The sturdiness of the bed is great! No squeaking and loud noises when you move which is definitely a plus. The only recommendation I have is to make sure if you get this bed, you have a thick mattress. My 10-inch bed looks funny with a box spring but is a little too small.

Company is great, but product is not sturdy
The headboard and frame itself are very nice! The color is exactly how it appears online. The fabric is very well made as are the wooden feet on the frame. With that said, the platform is not as sturdy as we had hoped. We have a king bed (with no box spring) and both sleep on separate sides, totaling about 375 lbs. As seen in the pictures, one side of the frame completely bent to the point where the feet in the middle of the frame weren’t touching the floor. Since there is a warranty through the company, we contacted the LUCID customer service. They were extremely helpful and efficient! They sent out a new platform within 2 days of contacting them. We received the new platform only a few days later. Because they didn’t have our original platform in stock, they sent us a fully metal, folding platform. They even sent a picture of what the new platform would look like with our headboard and frame. We put the new platform in and it seems to be more sturdy. Overall, I highly recommend the company! But maybe don’t get this product if you (and your sleeping partner) weight more than 300 lbs and you don’t have a box spring. If we had a box spring, I think it would’ve been fine.

This is NOT a Twin XL sized frame. I just don't know how they can get this so wrong.
Well, here we are, more than 100 years into standardized bed sizes that were so set as to facilitate ALL beds and frames, no matter the manufacturer or builder, fitting one another properly, but still, it seems manufacturers today are too inept, or careless, to follow them.As is shown in the photos, this Lucid frame is a solid six inches too long for a standard Twin XL mattress.I am so disappointed, and frustrated (returning these is going to be a nightmare, and I am sure the company is banking on that, betting most people won't go through the time and physical expense of doing so). And, to be sure I hadn't somehow ordered a Twin mattress instead of Twin XL, I measured it, too, and it is 79in long, which is reasonable since a twin xl bed frame's footprint (the part where the mattress sits) should be 80 inches +/- 1 inch or so, and it confirms this frame is just plain too long for the corresponding mattress size, period.Long and the short of it is there is no way to make this reasonably work with, not without some time and money-consuming hack, either you push the mattress against the headboard and you have a giant, awkward, ugly chasm at the bottom to look at and to try to remember is there so as to physically avoid it, or you pull the mattress down flush with the foot end of the bed and you have a six inch gap for everything to fall through where your pillows are and head and hands lay while you're asleep. If you choose the more obvious choice of pushed against the headboard end and a guest is lying or lounging on the bed and don't know about (or forget about) the six inch TRAP of a gap at the foot end and they quickly shimmy down or otherwise exit out of bed the bed byway the end instead of the side, they can easily, injure themselves, as instead of their foot or feet sliding off (and onto the ground below as their brain expects because that is normal exit procedure with properly sized mattresses and frames), their foot or feet might slide off the end and right into that gap (or hit it on the end). They could get a foot stuck or scraped or ankle twisted , especially since they probably had some momentum going into it. Gaps are dangerous that way (and this is why we have industry standards!).I don't have much more to say except 1. I regret buying TWO of these for my new guest room, and 2. GET YOUR ISH TOGETHER, LUCID. It doesn't matter how sturdy or attractive something like this is, if it is sized improperly for normal and safe function then it's not going to cut it., even at this relatively modest price point. The first job and really the ONLY job a bed frame performs is to properly hold a mattress. If it can't meet that standard it's a piece of junk. This is, therefore, a piece of junk not worth your time, money, or effort.Avoid until they fix this sizing issue (which, who am I kidding, they probably never will).

Fairly easy to assemble but beware of wrong directions
I assembled the whole thing myself in about an hour and a half. It would have been less but the directions will off. The pictures for the headboard post direction was wrong, as well as the picture for the side boards middle support bar. If you follow the picture, the holes will not line up and will cause you slight panic! Also, some reviews mentioned the wood slabs don't fit far enough across. All you need to do is push the side boards in until the slabs are snug in place and then fit the screws in place. Very simple. So far it feels sturdy and secure. We shall see.My only other complaint other than the directions, was some screw or part inside the headboard fabric feels like it might pop through the fabric at some point. It was only in one spot on the side bottom part of the headboard but I'm hoping it doesn rip the fabric down the round.

The instructions are the worst
If you value your relationship or friendship don’t put this bed together with them. The instructions are the worst and also hidden. We couldn’t find them and just thought they maybe they didn’t come with them, so that’s probably our fault. We also didn’t have enough screws for the entire bed but it came out sturdy. Overall the bed is nice and it was delivered a week earlier than what was expected so that’s what gave it extra stars. The head board is not as sturdy as I would Like but it’s not terrible.

Looks great
This bed frame looks amazing. The instructions to assemble the bed was alittle off. I feel like it's a little to expensive for the quality but so far it works great. There are some room left when placing a queen size mattress on it. The corner of my mattress is round shaped. Better if it was squared shaped mattress. But overall it looks great.

Not Sturdy just reinforce and you got a cheap frame!
I knew what I was buying at this price point, I needed a cheap frame. I did read the reviews and knew it was going to need reinforced with other materials. After reinforcement it's good to go had about 4 months no problem.

Decent Value, however a bit overpriced.
There was a bit of confusion getting it assembled, however it got done. The middle lost under the best frame quickly bent and left no support in the centre of the frame. The frame wiggles from side tobside with every movement and feels as though it will break any day...

Twin XL Flimsy
The instructions referenced parts that were not included and did not mention that they were optional. Once assembled, the structure was flimsy and cheap feeling.
