A FANTASTIC BOOK AND A MUST READ!
Review 6******This is the third and final book in the Starcrossed trilogy. I loved it!Helen Hamilton is a fantastic character! I loved her when I first met her. She is extremely beautiful, thanks to "that face" (Helen of Troy). She is about to face the hardest test (to stay away from Lucas) and a battle with the Titans. Will she be able to control her new powers before she and her friends get hurt or killed?I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this book! I pre-ordered it as soon as it became available, because I knew it would be epic! I fell in love with all the characters in the first two books, and I wondered what trials and tribulations would affect them in this one. I was completely hooked from the first page, as it continues just after the ending of the second book. The love triangle between Helen, Lucas and Orion is intense. However, I kept routing for Lucas, even though he's Helen's cousin (or is he?...). Both of these boys are extremely hot! There is also a new character who has Hector in a tizz! I liked her (Andy) very much. I found her to be a nice inclusion to an already fantastic group of people. This book is an action packed roller coaster ride! It had me in tears one moment, and biting my finger nails the next! The Titans are a vindictive and nasty bunch of Gods! But it's the betrayal by one of the group that shocked me the most! His death filled me with sadness, as he was one of the most likable characters, but when it's war, death is inevitable. The ending was suitable (trying not to give too much away here! ), and left me glad to know these fabulous people! I feel sad now that the trilogy is finished, but I can always visit them again when I feel the need!Josephine Angelini has written a fabulous trilogy filled with Greek Gods and Goddesses, not to mention the Kracken! I have already added her to my favourite authors list, and look forward to reading more of her books in the future.I HIGHLY recommend this book (and series) as a "MUST READ" if you love YA Romance novels filled with strong characters and/or Greek Gods and Goddesses! - Lynn Worton

Amazing ending to a great trilogy!
This was an amazing book. It had many elements to it, romance, action, tension...so much going on. In this final book of the Starcrossed trilogy Helen and the Delos family along with all their friends have to find a way to save earth from the gods, essentially. Some of the characters developments will surprise you, and some of the decisions they make will make you want to scream at them...but that's what makes a story so good, when you connect with the characters. The ending I thought for this series was well done, and credible...some series end in a very "and they all lived happily ever after, in a beautiful tower...the end." Ugh! this story didn't do that, and I found that to be a very good thing, it made the ending more believable. I'm trying not to spoil the end, but I think you're going to like it if you really like the series.

Beautiful
I am so sad to see the end of this trilogy but I have to admit that I'm also very happy with the conclusion to this story, it was a beautiful end to it . I loved all three books and specially this one, Josephine created amazing characters. The plot and story line was fantastic, not to mention all the actual Greek mythology and legendary characters behind it. And yes there were a few funny moments between Hector, Orion and Lucas mainly that I'm loved very much!I was amazed by the action and the armour ;) it is indeed an amazing read and I can only hope that Josephine Angelini doesn't stop writing or I'll go get Zeus to annoy her and make her write more books like these! :) hope everyone loves it as much as I did :)

Simpy Stunning
Please bear in mind that this is the third and final book in the Starcrossed series and as such the review may contain spoilers for the previous books.Let me start by saying that this is definitely a series you need to read in order and in close proximity to finishing the other books as you are thrown directly into the action from the very first page. There is very little re-capping and in all honesty it did take me a little while to remember all the nuances of the plot, the characters and their interactions (it has been a year since I read Dreamless).I'm not going into detail with regards the plot although I will say all of the plot threads are answered and there are some very major surprises in store. Things you cannot guess and wow you when they happen type of thingsThe third person narrative is essential with the myriad of layers involved in this story; I can tell you that not only is Greek mythology woven in but other very well known legends make an appearance and truthfully add an extra level of swoon to the whole story. The use of prophecy's and flashbacks build not only the plot but the intensity with which I reacted to the events within the story. As I said the third person narrative is essential to control the plot however the focalization on Helen gives it the feel of being able to see events through Helen's eyes. I would love to see certain scenes from the books told in first person from both Helen's and Lucas's perspective. I am seriously not willing to give these characters up and I don't think I ever will be.Josephine Angelini's writing style is quite simply stunning. The knowledge of mythology shines through, yet the story has such an individual stamp all of its own. Goddess delivered the finale the previous books hinted at by the bucket full.Quite simply Goddess is a complicated story, that can occasionally be confusing until your mind catches up with the speed at which Josephine Angelini's works; it is without a shadow of a doubt ALWAYS clever and completely consuming.
