item is not 1/2 inch, it's 3/8 inch
I bought it because of the advertised thickness, but the actual product is thinner.Also, the material feels very cheap to the touch compared to other mats that I've seen and handled.Would recommend only for a work out space that will not involve any weights heavier than 15lb.

Only 3/8" NOT 1/2"
Kinda sad they have to lie about the measurements. The mats are only 3/8th thick and NOT the 1/2" they say.

Danger to cat owners
Please beware if you are a cat owner. Our cat chewed a corner of this mat which became lodged in his intestine, and cost us $6000 in veterinary bills!! Keep your pets safe.

Good value!
I bought this to fill up the edge of my home gym that is mainly covered with the Amazon Basics mat tiles (both are exact same 3/8” thickness). The black colour of the RealLike brand is more dark gray than pure black compared to the Amazon Basics tiles (see pic for difference) but I didn’t mind since I was for the edge of the room where we store a bunch of weights and workout stuff.
