The book arrived in perfect condition and I really enjoyed it
The book arrived in perfect condition and I really enjoyed it! The author adds so much life and dimension to his review of the different coffee shops that gives me a whole new appreciation of space, form and function. I've never given much consideration to the aesthetics of coffee shops, but the author was able to describe why I'm drawn to certain environments. Imagine my surprise when I saw my favorite local shop "Intelligentsia Coffee" in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. The shop has always held a special place in my heart as an oasis of refuge for me and this book has helped me understand why I'm so drawn to the environment. Read this book and your eyes will be given a new perspective for your local coffee house and help you find that perfect place to hang out!By the way, the book looks great sitting on the coffee table and is a wonderful conversation piece or entertainment piece.

This is the perfect coffee table coffee book
This is the perfect coffee table coffee book! One does not expect to find such an erudite book about coffee shops, coffee making, and coffee tasting. Together with superb photography, the book captures the essence of fine coffee consumption in splendid architectural surroundings. I found myself wanting to visit each place to witness first hand the community, building architecture, and of course, the coffee, all thoroughly described in the book. Indeed, during my travels, I have visited a few of the places, and in my hometown, each one! I highly recommend this book about hot coffee and cool spaces!

A great combination of insight and photography
A great combination of insight and photography. The writing shows an attention to design details and the coffee making process. Highlighting historic and local features makes for an interesting read that compels one to explore these and other coffee shops. The photography captures the airy nature of many of these spaces along with some unique details. Well done.

It looks nice sitting on our end table, and we are instantly relaxed as we flip through its pages. Perfect to curl up with on a blustery day with a hot cup of coffee. I really love this book
I really love this book, the photos are great, I never really realized how many cool coffee hangouts there are out there. I think I would have liked it more if the book featured more coffee shops in New England ie Providence and Boston, and shops in NYC.

Great book to enjoy, especially now
Wonderful book! Nice to have something to connect to coffee shops. I have dearly missed them during Covid and stay at home. I love it’s simplicity. It captures the neat concept of coffee shops. Very unique and creative spaces. The photographs show a deep appreciation for the architecture and opportunity for commercial spaces to be more then routine and dull.

just a bunch of photos
Rate of one star is given because there is no possibility of lower rating, for ex. .3.It;s the kind of book despise: hardcover, glossy pics, but overallno valuable info, not enough data, just a bunch of photos, meaningless all in all.Absolutely redundant, useless, superfluous. I' m ditching it.
