Great mount, challenge to install
Very slim, high quality mount. You get an idea about how close to the wall this mount holds your TV by looking at my included picture. This is made by LG specifically for their 2016 OLED HDTVs. I got the OLED65B6P, which is IMO the best of the bunch. Better price plus doesn't have 3D which I didn't want. Again, as you can see in the picture, the TV is very thin. And amazing picture and performance for streaming.Back to the mount... Once you get it installed, it pulls out and tilts up and down (not sideways). It is held onto the TV via 4 bolts that slide into place in slots that are narrower at the bottom and thus can't come out without lifting the TV upwards a couple of inches. The only complaint I have is that understanding how to install the mount is not simple. Fortunately, they include a paper template that you can use to drive the included screws into studs. The two metal bars are mounted solidly that way to the wall. The smaller screws are then used to attach the mount itself to the bars. Finally, the four bolts attached to the TV are inserted and slid down the slots in the mount.I know this sounds a bit complicated and it is, but if I can do it, you can too. Once done, this is a great mount for a great TV. LC has done a fantastic job with both. Enjoy!

Works well - plenty secure
The mount has a nice slim design - the TV sits about 2-3 inches from the wall. It can also come out another 5 inches or so that allows access to the hook-ups etc. There are two bars that are first mounted to the studs. These are very, very secure with beefy wood screws. Then you mount the main piece to the wall. Rubber prongs are then attached to the TV and the TV is hung on the mount and locked in place. The process is pretty simply but the instructions don't make a lot of sense. It will take two people to lift the TV onto the mount. Once done it is very secure. I used it for my LG OLED TV. Doens't have all the swivel and tilt options that larger mounts do, so that's something to consider before buying and the price is a bit high. But works well.

Works well, easy to install. Grab a helper!
Solid mount. Good install instructions. Easy-ish to install. I have a 65" LG and it's a bit tough to line up the tabs to sit in the proper holes on the mount. You don't have a lot of room to work with while the mount is fully extended and it's very difficult to hit just the right spot and know for sure you have all 4 bolts locked into the right holes. There is still a lot of flex on the mount after it's all set up too. The TV is a bit wobbly, but that's probably more because of the design of the TV being so bottom heavy and paper thin at the top. Once you get it set into the position you want it stays there and doesn't move. Slamming doors and kids banging into walls won't shake it. I'm sure a good earthquake will get it swinging though. It seems to me that the hardware used to attach to the wall might be a little small but with a little research it all totally exceeds the specs needed for weight if it's installed properly. I think I just like the total overkill of the last few mounts I've installed with giant lag bolts. Only time will tell if it all holds up well! The TV looks VERY nice being so close up against the wall though. That is something you won't get with a universal and industrial strength mount.

Nice and not as hard to install as I thought it was going to be
I have an LG OLED55C6P, and bought this mount because it's LG and wanted to insure myself that it was actually for my television. This is my first wall mount installation, and on drywall. The hardest part of the installation is actually getting your measurements right in order to have the television right where you want it.My tools: hand drill (fully charged), 3/12 drill bit (for wall mounting supporter to studs), screw driver, leveler, painters tape, pencil, measuring tape. May want to put something on the floor to protect it and from dust. What I did was place the Guide Spacers on the back of the television first, then put the wall mount on the back, this gave me the distance from the bottom of the wall mount to the bottom of the television (I think it was 7"), the length of this television is 48" which is nice because it let me know an exact center, 16" x 3. Next I used a stud finder to find the studs, though my stud finder said it found a stud in one location there wasn't one, be mindful of that (drilled a hole and no stud :(). Though seconds later I was kind of fortunate that I found studs 16" apart (which is standard) but a little to the left from where I wanted my center to be. Now knowing the distance from the bottom of the television and distance to the bottom of the wall mount, and how high I wanted it from my entertainment center in order to have a decent view from where I would be sitting, I used green painters tape to make a frame of the television on the wall (48"x29") (I'm also using a leveler the whole time), maybe it was a little much but it let me know how much space I had in the room for my speakers et al. Using the VESA paper guide and wall mount, and the distance from the bottom of the television to the bottom of the wall mount, this let me know exactly where to drill in the studs to install the wall mounting supporter (I drilled straight through the paper guide). Be mindful, that all this time I'm using a leveler to ensure everything is straight. After the wall mount supporters are installed, then I screwed in the wall mount to the supporters. After that's done, make sure to pull out the wall mount and unlatch the lock springs (don't know if you need to unlatch the lock springs but I did) as this made it easier to place the television in the wall mount. Be very mindful, YOU DO NEED AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE to get your set mounted on the mount as it can get a little bit awkward trying to line it up (my wife who helped me had a difficult time lining it up) and don't forget to latch the lock springs. You can now bring out or push in the television, tilt it back or down, and I was also able to move it to the right an inch or so by extending the mount and pushing a little to the right. This gave me almost the exact location of where I initially wanted it. The only downside I think is the guide spacers, they're plastic and wish they were made of something more durable. But after it's set the way you want it you shouldn't be moving it much, so it shouldn't be much of a concern.Overall, it's a good product and I'm happy with it, just make sure you follow the instructions to the t and as always, make sure all the items are there (I only had six wall mounting supporter screws though the manual checklist says eight). It took me long to install (about an hour and a half), but I'm a rookie at this.
