The medium is not the message but in this case it is part of it. The book is full of interesting observations and triggers a constant evaluation of our worldview. At the same time every aspect of it is designed creating a deep user experience while reading. Certainly a must own!

I love this book. It sits on my desk and, whenever I need inspiration, I crack it open. Any section. The only downside, though, is that sometimes I get lost in it for hours.

A book I always reference when it comes to life and art

This book is staggeringly amazing, cool, informative, mind opening and beautifully designed to boot. 10 stars, plus bonus extra credit points. Highest possible recommendation.

What a remarkable book. On one hand it deserves six or seven out of five for its graphic design, its physical form and its many thoughts on memes, beliefs, culture, ideas and thought. On the other perhaps four out of five as some of the visuals don't really work and several of the texts feel a tad dry. But I quibble; overall it's a stunning achievement - beautiful, desirable, thought provoking and intelligent. I've just finished it and all I want to do is read it again, which seems a pretty good reaction. If you're interested in design, communications, ideas or culture do yourself a favour and get a copy.

This book is beautiful in appearance, both in it's cover and in the contents.Each page has beautiful visuals to illustrate the points being made.My only problem was that many of the points were superficial, and the book feels like a triumph of style over substance.A gorgeous thing to own, but not worth £25. Not enough knowledge contained.

Thought provoking and inspirational. A good dip in-dip out book. Great imagery and layout. Keep it handy and at arms length so as not to distract you all day!
