I’m so happy I found this clear case! I spent hours trying to find a clear case for my 2020 Macbook Pro (Model A2289), however options were very limited and had designs (which I wasn’t looking for).While this case is great and gets the job done, DO NOT USE THE SCREEN PROTECTOR OR KEYBOARD PROTECTOR!!! Apple has said that screen protectors can damage the retina display screen, and the pressure of the keyboard protector will do the same when your Macbook is closed! Protect your investment the right way!Another warning, I would advise against using the cleaning cloth provided, as the material seems way too rough, and it could possibly scratch you screen or the outside of the laptop!Besides these precautions, my only complaint is that the case did come with some scratches and fingerprints (pictured, please excuse the light reflection) that don’t seem to wipe clean, however they aren’t extremely noticeable and don’t attract attention unless you look very closely in the light.Overall, great product! It fits model A2289 perfectly, and I would recommend!

This case looks really nice! I wanted to post some pictures of the gradient purple since I didn't seen any other ones, but the pictures I took didn't really do it justice. It looks so much better in person. It fits perfectly on my Macbook Pro 2020 with the four thunderbolt ports (A2251). For those who say that it didn't fit their macbook are you sure your macbook is the newest 2020 edition??? It snapped pretty easily on mine, I started from the back and worked my way forward and my macbook fit snuggly. I am able to fully open my laptop (pictured) and all of the dust caps fit in my ports. I will not use the screen protector or the keyboard cover per apples advice to not leave anything on your screen or keys when you close your laptop or it could cause issues, so I won't remark on those.A few negative things for me that I will mention - the bottom case fits very snug and will not slip, BUT it is made from a very scratchy plastic and I am worried that it may scratch the aluminum body of my laptop when I decide to remove it. Also, my bottom cover had some chalky/paint like texture (pictured) when opened. It did not seem to come off much when cleaned but some chalk-like flakes did rub off. I still put this case on regardless to try it out, but again I am afraid the residue might come off on to my macbook, especially after it heats up from use. Also, I wish I had realized that the apple logo was a cut out. If I had known, I might not have gotten this particular case as I was looking for a cover that would completely cover my apple logo. That is just my preference though.I also got the clear case to try on a later date, though I will note that while they supposedly come from the same company, the clear case was packaged slightly different than the purple gradient one. The purple gradient case had a long rectangular slice of styrofoam to protect it from pressure damage while the clear case only had a thin strip of egg crate looking piece of plastic that would not fully protect it from cracks that might come from pressure during shipping. This might explain why some reviewers reported cracks in their cases. Just something for the manufactures to consider and for buyers to be wary of.All in all, I would recommend this case for those looking for some protection for the 2020 macbook pros but be wary about the damage coming from the case itself on your laptop. I will update in the future if I do get scratches after removing the case.

So far so good. Fit my Mac Pro 13 inch well. Took a while for me to figure out how to put it on but it fits. It’s very soft and not a super dark black. A bit sheer. More like a matte black. Update: changing from 5 to 4 stars because the case gets fingerprints really easily! And they are pretty noticeable. I tried cleaning the case but it doesn’t work. So beware. Wouldn’t purchase again because of the finger prints.

Fit Perfect. I have a MacBook Pro 2020 Model# A2289

The top case is a snug fit, but the bottom is the tiniest bit loose--but not noticeable or bothersome. I didn't use the screen protector because I've read that having screen protectors on the laptop ruins the screen. I ended up using the screen protector as a layer in between the laptop and case to put stickers on top of it. The keyboard protector is a perfect fit--even better than the one I purchased a while ago (I think the brand is something 'sevenline'-I forgot the actual name). I also do not leave the keyboard protector on the laptop when its closed, I remove it and just fold it up and put it in the laptop sleeve after using because I read leaving the keyboard protector on while closed will also ruin the screen. Dust plugs fit nicely. Doesn't feel super cheap but exert care just in case so you don't snap it in half when putting it on. Overall good value for the price.

Searched high and low for a new case for my daughter's new A2251 MacBook Pro, without any success. The guys at Apple insisted that the existing A1706/A1708 cases fit this model, but after explaining to them multiple times that they don't (you will not be able to get the bottom to snap on) without them believing us, we searched on our own. It must be that these cases are just coming out. Overall, my daughter and I are really happy with this purchase: the screen protector, case itself, and keyboard cover are in good condition, and everything fits like a glove. However, it is worth noting that the case scratches somewhat easily.
