Does exactly what it needs to
I can't easily verify the gain figures but it has helped immensely with reception of NOAA satellites around 137 MHz and 433 MHz data. Works fine using the Biastee in the RTL-SDR blog dongle and is easy to connect in the daisy chain from the aerial.

Just the job
Bought for a longer cable run, allows me to keep the gain control lower on the receiver, no apparent noise increases. All good. Being Bias-Tee powered is a bonus not needing a separate power supply, powered via the antenna cable, make sure your receiver can do that before buying.

Definitely seen an increase of signal to noise
Definitely works however just be aware to adjust the gain. If you don’t have bias t the internal pads work well with a repurpose usb lead

Tricky to install but worth it
I am completely new to SDR and bought this Low Noise Amplifier (LNR) to try to improve reception, and it really works, giving a huge signal boost. I am using RTL-SDR V3, SDR# with a Moonraker Skyscan Desktop Scanner Antenna. With the addition of this LNA I can now hear stuff I could not hear at all before. Two of the screen shots show the signal in SDR# with the LNR turned off, and on. The boost is so great I had to reduce the range after turning the LNR on to illustrate this.Tip 1: If using RTL-SDR V3, the RTL-SDR V3 must not be in use by SDR# when running the bias_tee_on.bat. Stop SDR# from running or close SDR# before running the .bat files.Tip 2: when powered by Bias Tee Power, the LNR has a tiny green LED at the base of the out jack, as shown in the photo. It turns on when the Bias Tee Power is on. It is very hard to see in daylight. The LED is off when the Bias Tee Power is off.Tip 3: getting bias T power to work in RTL-SDR V3 is is tricky (in WIndows 10). The RTL-SDR V3 dongle drivers have to be correctly installed using zadig.exe. In my case, I had to update the drivers on "RTL2832UHIDIR" , not the "Bulk-In, Interface (Interface 0)". See screen shot.Tip 4: Based on my observations, I think that if the SNR is not powered it diminishes the signal from the antenna. So you might want to remove it from the signal path when not in use.

Screened In-line RF Amplifier
This wide band RF amplifier is intended for use with wide band SDR type receivers. The amplifier is powered by voltage being supplied through the SDR bias-T antenna connection although it is possible to hardwire an external supply if necessary. The aluminium case provides good screening from interference and is earthed through the antenna ground connection. In use, this amplifier is best placed as close to the antenna as possible to amplify signals before they are sent down a long run of coax to a receiver. If you need one of these amplifier devices, this is one of the smallest and nicest built ones I have come across. It provides a decent level of gain and will lift signals out of the noise when used correctly. This is a bit of specialist kit, so you will need to know enough about radios and antennas to judge whether you actually need one, or if it will be effective for your particular installation. If you need a wide band RF amplifier, this is one of the best and neatest I have come across. Easy to install, and really easy to control and power directly from your SDR.

Works Well
Once you get the gain levels set perfectly this LNA works well and improves coverage reception of your SDRjust a pity the ON LED is inside the box but you can just see it through the gap in the case.

Rubbish

Stopped working
Had this Lna for about 4 weeks when it stopped working. I can’t recommend it.
