PETZL ADJAMA Unisex Harness - Adjustable Rock and Ice Climbing Harness for Single and Multi-Pitch Climbs

The harness is very comfortable - the belay loop material is more compact than my other harness which makes clipping in and of of auto-belays much easier.It easily adjusts for both myself and my girlfriend to use.

While building my home, I incorporated a 40' rock-climbing wall on the side of the house. I've researched many harnesses and decided to try Petzl's Adjama. I liked it so much, I purchased two additional. So I have three different sizes for visiting family members and friends.My experience: sizing runs a bit small. I had read reviews stating the opposite, so I began with a Medium, which BARELY fit. I kept it and ordered a Large. The fit was better but thought, why not - let's round the family & friends selection off with an XL. The XL fits me best. My stats - I'm a 63 yo male who does much to fight off Father Time and have added this wall into my regular workouts. I come in at 5'-10" and ~190 lbs, with a 34" waist. The quality of this product was obvious to my lay-person eyes. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you go with this quality name & product. Good luck!!

This harness is exactly what I needed more than enough room for gear and chalk bag, comfortable, light weight, and very well made. I would certainly recommend this.

I rated 4 stars because it didn't have two adjustment buckles like CORAX. That limited centering harness attachment. The leg buckles and everything else is excellent.

Well thank you Amazon for ypur interest and consideration;1. I ordered item in the 1st place with size L, after my granddaughter took her size with a measuring tape.However once it came, it was a bit too big, so it is for safety reasons when climbing NOT ALLOWED!2. So, that is why, I reorderd same as size M a few days ago.3. I feel Amazon is definetly not to blame for, pehaps she was mistaken when measuring.

The Adjama is the comfiest harness I've used so far. If you're looking for some harness that doesn't leave you without legs when you rest on the route, this is the one.

Work as expected and is light, check sizes as they run smaller

I've been using an Adjama for my outdoor climbing for about 2.5 years, and have put well over a thousand pitches of outdoor climbing on it, including more than a dozen trad multipitch routes, which can really push a harness gear loops and capability. The most important thing of course is robust construction for safety (good here). The next most important thing is the hardest to describe: it just gets the job done without fuss or annoyances. All 5 gear loops are well situated--especially the front ones--making it as easy as it can be to grab that draw or cam when you're up against your grade limit on lead. And unlike other brands I've seen my buddies wear, the rear leg elastics hold up.

Imbrago che non ha bisogno di presentazioni, prodotto consigliatissimo per vie lunghe grazie alla sua comodità da appeso in sosta e la possibilità di portare e ordinare il materiale su 5 porta-materiali più un piccolo anello posteriore per appendere il porta-magnesite o una maglia rapida di emergenza. Non ha i passanti per infilare i moschettoni porta-materiali per martello e viti da ghiaccio ma non è studiato per questi campi.I porta-materiali laterali hanno una struttura più rigida mentre i 3 posteriori sono più flessibili, l'imbrago presenta le fettucce regolabili sulle cosce e la regolazione in vita con una sola fettuccia. Personalmente ho un girovita di 86cm e la M risulta perfetta, i porta-materiali sono simmetrici a destra e sinistra. Attenzione a questo dettaglio quando scegliete la taglia, i porta-materiali devono restare simmetrici quindi consiglio di calzarlo sempre con la fettuccia quasi in battuta e non allungata oltre la metà altrimenti avrete i rinvii sempre dietro al fianco e non di lato.
