This is perfect for anyone that using 12" or smaller rolled vinyl or HTV
I ordered this roll feeder to use with my cameo because I always have issues with the roll rolling off the table or getting sideways or bunched up. I didn't get it out of the box for over a month in and a half because I figured it would be more of a pain to use than it was worth..and THEN I was cutting 2 feet of vinyl off of a roll and it was almost done and the roll rolled off the table hitting the ground and yanking the cut part to the side and cutting it all crooked...so, I got this feeder out of the box, read the instructions, and had it all in place and working in 5 minutes. It was so simple to use. I just unpackaged it, pulled up the 2 side pieces that hold the vinyl roll, much like a wall mounted paper towel holder in my grandmas kitchen. I placed the roll in the perfect groove and with the holders in both ends then fed the vinyl thru the slit on the front. I used the included slicer to cut a perfect line. I did have to hold the end of the vinyl tight to get a smooth cut. I love love the groove and slicer feature. I have the first cameo version, so mine didn't come with anything like that. When cutting vinyl from a roll, having a straight starting line is extremely important. Everything worked perfectly and I didn't have to worry about the vinyl rolling off the table. Since originally posting this review, I upgraded to the Cameo 3 and this roll feeder works flawlessly with it as well. I still use it on a regular basis. It's definitely worth the small investment. Go ahead and get one. You won't be disappointed.

It's so much better than having to cut the vinyl
I started a t-shirt business at the beginning of the year, and own both a Cameo and a Cricut. I had started leaning toward my circuit because of the ease of layering and the Cameo software not being as user friendly. This week I have an order of 120 shirts and pulled out both cutters to get the vinyl cut in a more efficient time frame. I knew that I had seen a feeder option and searched for it thinking it was for the Cricut. It turned out to be for the Cameo instead. I bought it anyway hoping that it would help a little.I have since only cut 5 shirts on my Cricut and 95 with the Cameo and the feeder. This thing is a gift from God! I had 30' rolls of vinyl cut and laid out 10 designs on the Cameo art board (as it will only go unto 120"). I hit start and walk away. When I come back I have 10 shirts cut at a time. I go cook and come back, I go clean and come back, I go to sleep and come back. Over the weekend I will have all the shirts cut. It's so much better than having to cut the vinyl, layout out on the cutting mat, load the cutter and wait. The longest cut mat for the Cricut is only 24" so I can only do 2 at a time, and for some reason, every other one isn't cutting the entire design. It's also better than a roll on the Cameo without the feeder, because the feeder holds the vinyl tight and in place without shifting.I will definitely use this Cameo and feeder going forward. This feeder has revolutionized my time and my business!!! I no longer have to be afraid to take large orders. I don't know what I was waiting on. Don't wait - - just buy it now!!!!

Must have!!
This thing has honestly saved me so much time!! So before my purchase I read the reviews. I still decided to order and I'm in love!! ❤ The trick to this device is... adjust the roller on the right side of your Silhouette. Yep move that roller in, so in order to do that you'll grab the roller and twist it till it unlocks. There is an unlock symbol on the roller casing, then flip the lever directly above the roller this unlocks the bar that the roller is on now slide the roller to the left about a half inch to an inch, now flip the lever above the roller back up to lock the bar back in place. Final step twist the roller it's self back into the lock position and wallah your done! You can now load vinyl click cut and walk away! This thing is the best invention ever when it comes to cutting HTV! That stuff slides as quick as me on ice! BTW I never use a mat when cutting, my orders are too big. This is a must have if you don't use a mat and don't want to babysit your machine.

Love it!
Very helpful when using big rolls that need continued feed through...

Nice addition, but needs some improvement.
The Silhouette Roll Feeder is a nice addition to my Cameo but could use some improvement.PROS:I no longer need to pre-measure and cut my vinyl before feeding into the cutter for a project. This saves vinyl that has to be recut because I measured incorrectly.I always get a nice clean edge using the supplied cutter, but I wish that it was better quality than what it is. Either way, since there is a channel for which a blade can slide, I can use my rotary cutter or other blades.I can now store a vinyl roll without having to put it away. This is especially good when it is a commonly used color.CONS:The lip that the vinyl must travel across to get to the cutter is rather bothersome. The vinyl naturally curls at the end so you have to fight with it to get it across the valley and the space is very tight. I usually end up disconnecting the cutter and the feeder by accident. Which brings me to my next con. It's annoying trying to get the Cameo and the roll feeder to match up... once connected its solid, well, until you knock it out of place again trying to feed the roll into the cutter. :PThe quality is not that great. The base is nicely build and feels heavy duty, but the roll holders are sitting on a wish and a prayer. They are very flimsy. One popped off just as I was taking it out of the box but thankfully it went back on easily. Too easily. The feeder is pretty big, excessively big for what it is. I can indentify ways in which to easily condense the equipment for future versions. Just takes up a lot of desk real estate.
